hi ive got a crackd winXP but no updates and the install of zune requires it i think anyone know a way round it????

Zune is 1yr and 6 mos old. Past the warranty.

Player shuts off. Only one earphone signal

receiving, the other one weak. MS says "too

bad". Will look at and maybe fix for $150.

I am a professional Geek.

I got a Zune.

It was fun for a while,

but then I found I-Tunes.

So I had to get an Ipod.

I'll keep "Tune" for Zune's sake.

In case MS releases the "Golden" update.

i installed the latest zune update and am quite displeased with the results. is there a way to uninstall it and continue with the older version?

granted some of the features would be nice to have, but as a whole, i don't want the new package.

I really like my new 30 GB zune... Yes I like the Brown ones. Chocolate?

Anyway, I was dissappointed, after being a member of the 30 GB 5G Ipod generation for about two years now.

The device has an excellent look -- software and physical. But I was extremely disappointed with its features (or lack thereof). This is a Microsoft device -- shouldn't it AT LEAST sync my contacts, calendars, and tasks like my iPod will?

Other beef: Give us some more use out of the wifi -- give us a browser... you'd pull a little competition away from those who want PDA phones. or PDAs.

The zune has a lot of potential, but it's taking an extremely long time to develop these (what I would assume should be) standard features.

I think that a clock would be a good idea, I also strongly support the Unicode support idea. I think that text support would extremely helpful -or at least amusing. Just have it emulate the video player: Zune sideways, include browsing support, and possibly even an editor or PDF reader.
