i recently purchase a 120gb zune after my 30gb zune crashed and couldn't recharge...do i have to download/install zune software again? or can i use that for my new zune? i also purchased some videos and when i played it on my zune it says that this video is missing? please "help!!"

dude, i installed the software and ***, it imported my music. and pictures. But for some reason it isn't importing my videos. Do u know how much it pains me. 300 videos and the software isnt taking it. I havent gotten the zune yet i was just getting the stuff ready to put on it. does tht have anything to do with it. Do i need to cinvert the format of the videos. If i do can usend me the link to get the program to change the format. Dude just help me out, wats wrong with it. I used utorrent to download them. so all my videos are torrents, but so are my songs so i dont get it.Its just bitching to me. I even tried the whole chooses wat folder to monitor it still doesnt work. it still says there are no videos in my collection. wat the hell can i do. can i drag and drop... dont think so. answer back fast man. i need ur help. email me at snakeskin21@hotmail.com

Please help! I'm having the following promblems. I just updated my zune the the 3.0 software. When I try to creat a playlist I get the following error " the name____is not valid. Please choose a different name." It does this no matter what I enter. Also, I had a windows problem and basically had to start from scratch, thats why I had to update my software, but I have music on my device and it won't copy to my collection now. It goes through the motions and shows what percent completed, gets all the way to 100% and then there's nothing in my collection except new stuff that I dl today or yesterday. Any help would be greatly appreciaited. I love my zine and miss listening to all my music from my laptop, and I can't make new playlist.

Since installing 3.0 I've had problems playing some Podcasts from CNN. In particular many Anderson 360 Podcasts do not play properly and hang up my Zune. The same Podcasts play with no problem on my Zune desktop software. Symptoms in common seem to be large files, playback going wrong within the first few seconds of playing Podcast (audio plays at triple speed and then stops altogether with video track continuing with no sound). If I try to pause or fast forward the Zune is unresponsive and sometimes hangs up for a minute or so. Hope you can provide answer as to what this might be.

i am wondering how to compress my whole colection of music to fit on the zune 30gb. ive got about 16000 songs. it takes a lota room, is there something i can use to shrink it without loosing much quality and still be zune compatable?

hi,i just bought a zune from a pawn shop that i work at.it didnt come with the cd-rom disk to put the software i needed,so i tried going to zune.net and download the software.but it seems like evey time i have tried it just says that i cant and there is an error.i have a compaq presario v5000 with windows xp.i dont know whats going on and i really would like to know if there is some way of being able to get the software,so that i can start enjoying my zune.any input?

After downloading the Zune 2.3 software for streaming to my xbox360 the program won't run. I double click the icon and I get the report error windows asking me whether I want to send the error info to microsoft or not. The old version runs fine. Does this have to do with problems I've been having with .net framework? I can't uninstall it or reinstall any of it.

Good thinking sportsunit! These are 2 very important questions that I have thought about. I recently had my computer cleaned and lost every one of my songs! But I still have all of them on my Zune...Is there ANYWAY to transfer them from the Zune to the computer? Also, it would be nice to, like sportsunit said, alter playlists on the Zune. I have a work playlist & I would like to be able to change what songs are on it by using just the Zune, not the computer. Last but not least, it would be cool if you could delete individual songs off of the quick list, instead of having to erase the whole list! Come on Zune software masters...GET CRACKIN'!

Now that I have downloaded the Zune update which is really nice, I continuously am receiving a Norton security alert every 5 seconds or so saying a remote system is attempting to access my computer. The path & file name is C:\WINDOWS\system32\ZuneBusEnum.exe There are different remote pots listed each time. Do you know what I can do to stop this.
