The DJ idea is fantastic. Good DJs that listeners know and respect is one reason why satellite radio has taken off, so it makes sense to have them here. In fact, I'd like to see larger/detailed profile pages for them, and some kind of differentiation in their Zune Card that makes their special status obvious without having to visit their profile.

Idea: Most of these DJs were/are actually DJs on the radio (two from KEXP?! w00t). How about an official Zune podcast show for these DJs where they can highlight their favorite new tunes for us?

I wanted to say that I love where the social is going. It far outweighs any other possible feature of a portable music player and marketplace service. I've wanted this for a long time!!

Also, I second wanting a place to find Zune DJs!! Great feature, where's the one for downtempo? ;)

PS - I've repeatedly tried to add you and kid hops as friends, but it doesn't work! I made my Zune tag a long time ago when the social was first announced and before it was integrated into the software.

Koool, this is the first time i'm hearing about Zune DJ's :) and the one-way friend makes a lot of sense. May be instead of adding all the DJ's to user during sign-up, you can let them have an option to choose a few DJ's (Genres) that they are interested in.

Anyways, nice to hear about this feature. Keep them coming. Good work.

Where can we find these zune DJs if we're interested? I wouldn't mind friending one up.

Also one-way friending seems to make sense for public figures to me.

wow I wasn't even aware of the Zune DJs! I noticed the "one way friends" thing when the whole Ninja Gaiden promotion started. Cool stuff, Zune team.

What if we don't have the Zune DJ's as a friend? How do we get them added? I was a part of the social at launch. I didn't join after this last update so I don't have them automatically.

This is customer support and involvement at its best. It's what makes the Zune brand very promising. Keep it up. ;)
