&lt;p&gt;on the flip side, you could argue that apple marketing is geared way too much towards the white majority. for instance, the U2 ipod, or almost every commercial they've made. white &amp;quot;pc,&amp;quot; john hodgman, and the &amp;quot;mac&amp;quot; who is the stereotypical white 20-something. and why is it that every non-white person in every apple ad is portrayed only as a silhouette? again, i'm not accusing apple of anything, but my point is that perhaps you are looking way too deep into it.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Well, Apple has done some marketing with latin and hip-hop music in their commercials, and even an iPod "silhouette" commercial with latin dancing. Also, it seems like the iTunes Top Songs are often African-American artists.&lt;/P&gt;
