You can use the Marketplace outside the USA...there is trick ..your Windows Live ID must be USA based. ;)

So my Zune finally came in the mail yesterday! I have to say, it's even better than I thought. The player is great (glad to see the double shot staying around!), and I love the UI. Sound quality is great too (now I realize how junky my G4 iPod actually was, lol). My favourite features so far are the customizable backgrounds and the screen. Videos look great!

Anyway, just wanted to say you've got one more Zune owner out there. Just too bad Canadians can't use the Marketplace yet...

@ MattJ: I'll second that "Viva La Brown!" You know, with the brown and green, they should have called it "Forest" or something, lol.

Any chance of Zune being released for the Mac? I am considering going to the MacSide for my new laptop and I still want to use my Zune 30! I have to confess that I don't feel the new range offers enough new for me to want to upgrade my Zune, I am going to stick with what I have for the time being. Viv La Brown! :p

Marketplace is jacked up and wants to charge for every song. This has happened before. Xbox Live is also down. Please help as I need Britney now B*tch!(reference to the song, no hate).

Wow, unrelated but I just noticed the updated resolution on album artwork on the ZMP. HOLY CRAP!

That was one of the complaints I had but never voiced because I figured it was a fault of the resolution, not the source image, so I'm very happily surprised by this.

And erm, I was just curious, are the headphones included with the new Zunes the old Premium ones or the new set with fabric cable?

And @ Espiox, as for the question about when the Zune firmware will be released, from what I got from Cesar it'll be the same day as the release of the Zune2.
