The answer is yes. From the Zune software, you'll be able to enter the URL of the podcast to subscribe to it.
I might be missing something but the podcasts I've played seem to get re-synced as new podcasts rather than deleted from the Zune/PC.

A "delete this" option on the player for podcasts or music would be excellent.

re: Quick Note on Podcasting

How can I delete unwanted podcasts episodes and keep wanted podcast episodes from the same NPR show?

re: Quick Note on Podcasting

hello,

You must improve podcasting and wifi sync beyond local network. The following specification should be looked at:

Allow a zune to connect from anywhere to the following sources:

- your media center

- your xbox

- skydrive

it should pass nat routers....

This would be great and put ms out of reach of the ipod....

"if it downloads directly, when it upgrades, it is going to be replaced or the old and new will be togheter"

This is my question too. Is there a setting on the Zune player to automatically delete the old podcast when it downloads the new one? This would be a great feature, and almost necessary for the lower capacity flash models. You can imagine how fast 4 GB would fill up with auto syncing if the old ones are not deleted.

re: Quick Note on Podcasting

davidMex... nothing automatically downloads through Zunes. Everything is tag by the Zune software on your computer then sync'd to your device.

The real question will be how the Zune software manages the podcast subscriptions. Here's hoping you can tag them and the the software will periodically check for an update and automatically download it.

re: Quick Note on Podcasting

I think that it would be awesome if you could download podcasts directly to the zune from a wireless network, then, when you are traveling, you can keep up with your fave podcast.

re: Quick Note on Podcasting

Great, thanks for the clarification Cesar.

re: Quick Note on Podcasting

Hey,
