As you might recall - some Zune staffers and I are going to SXSW this year. If you're in the Austin area, let me know - I'll see about getting you on the list for some of the parties that Zune is throwing there. No promises, though; when a venue is full, a venue is full. Last week, at the Project Fashion Show in Las Vegas , Zune partnered with Nylon (the magazine) . We hosted Zune + Nylon booths on the show floor. Zune also hosted a dinner at The Pink Taco . Some pictures: (note Zune logo in the back) Alas, I didn't get invited to go this time around. But don't cry for me, Argentina - one Vegas trip per quarter is enough. Take care folks! High five! Zune featured artist Young Love came by the offices yesterday to play an accoustic set. I like his music on the album, and the accoustic stuff was cool, too. Also, note the stack of CDs/posters in the picture - one of the perks of working here is the free stuff ;)

Here's an interesting twist on Zune to Zune wireless sharing: ChikaZune (via Crunchgear ). ChikaZune offers a series of images that can be beamed to other Zune users, via wireless. The images serve as a primitive chat. Cool. I'd love to have a picture of a high-five (high-five!) so I can beam it. In fact, this has inspired me to make another contest.
