    I saw the WWDC coverage on Engadget a little bit today and noticed that Entertainment and Devices (the division of which Zune, Games for Windows, and Xbox are a part) got two mentions in the Keynote: John Hodgman, playing "The PC Guy" referenced the brown Zune, and then John Carmack from id software said they’d have next gen game-tech Mac, PS3 and Xbox at E3.     Some (very vocal) folks are wondering about firmware updates. Or at least the communication around them.I had actually chimed in a previous post . But it's worth updating/restating here: As far as the silence around firmware updates. I feel your pain, and I understand how frustrating the silence is. Honestly though, just because there's no word from the me/team, doesn't mean we're not listening, and that the dev team isn't working hard. Right now they'd rather be heads down and make improvements...

    Wow! I'm loving all the conversation about this in my last post . I'm back from CES now and I've had some time to read up on the keynote, especially the Cisco Apple iPhone. So, a few thoughts: Steve Jobs is a great showman, and his keynote wowed a lot of people. Even on this site. Although I think we're past the Reality Distortion Field now and people are taking a more grounded look. Along with Krull , this Engadget article made me go 'hmm.' I wonder if Apple partnered with LG, like we partnered...
