AWESOME! Can't wait to try it out!

I just downloaded this, and god damn it's slow! I don't know if it's just the wifi in my house, but so far I've got it to load my profile picture, my info, and my pictures. no status, no friends, no messages. It's ridiculous. Is anyone else having these problems? I've been sitting here waiting for it to load my status for the past 10 minutes.

I'll test it on another network ASAP.

I know you guys worked hard on this. Thanks for the free app and don't let the nay sayers get you down!

The News Feed is blank on Facebook for Zune HD. Also, can't update status from that screen. Says "Failed to update your status" or something like that. The profile screen works okay.

This is sooo Slow!!! I am not liking this yet!

As far as I can tell, it's an app that does nothing more than display pretty status bars and "failed to update your status" messages.

Using the browser to access Facebook works much better.

mine is also slow, it won't load anything, no status updates, no photos no nothing can't do anything on the app, I appretiate the hard work put into it but after the release date being changed like two times its kind of disapointing, and I want to know with the app if we will be able to do Facebook apps like mafia wars and farm Ville.

im glad the app has been released and appreciate the work you guys are doing, however im not getting any status updates or news feeds or anything....

I can see how this would be a fantastic application - if it actually worked.  On my wifi, the only thing that works is the profile page and the notification window - everything else is blank or just sits there with the loading screen.  Rather disappointing...

Slow and generally unresponsive. Half baked liked the browser. The music player is still best in class though.

What the hell happened to wanting to deliver us a quality app and making us wait. This looks like it was made in about a month. It pretty much uses the same concept as Twitter and I'm guessing the base format was the twitter one. There is no chat like the ipod version etc. Its extremely slow and utterly useless.  

yea thanks but doesn't work...i mean really.  I'm saddened by this, you had two apps that have had problems and the next one you need to step up and deliver out the the box

This application is very good in the design and the look….In factuality it gets a 0. I mean it took you guys  3 months to make a non functioning app!!!! And not only does it not work but you guys ONLY release ONE app…..you had 3 MONTHS!!!  Where is the YouTube app? Where is a Notepad app??? Where is the Calendar app???? Where are those simple and standard apps  ?!?!?! I think I am speaking for many costumers when I say that I am not asking for much, I just want some nice and simple apps that DO WORK!!! Is that too much to ask form a multimillion company???

ya mines is also very slow and the only thing that loads is my profile picture, and thats about all, ive had my zune reloading and loading for about a day and nothing has happen, unless it takes awile to figure everything out let me know, if not its kind of disapointing for not working and haveing to move the release date like two times, so i hope everything will end up working good.

congrats. Though, I haven't used facebook in months. Maybe this will make me want to use it again.

I love my Zune HD when it comes to music and video, but, I have to say the whole apps portion of the platform is been a disaster.  I thought there would be dozens of apps by now.  This does not bode well for Windows Phone 7 Series.

at first I was having problems with the app but I deleted it and reinstalled it and it works just fine, so if you are still having probs give it a try, and I downloaded it from the marketplace on my Zune, I don't know if that makes a diffrence but might as well give it a go. Thanks for everything Zune.

I am not having any issues with it. May just be me though. One thing I wish it had is landscape keyboard. It is aggravating typing long messages in portrait view.

They twittered that there's an issue with the app not loading anything.

Update will be made, weird that zuneinsider doesn't post that it's broken.

loaded the app last night.. it was slow - nothing ever loaded. i was able to get the currently playing song to post to facebook.

tried to load it today and am getting "unknown error"  :(

Great you guys did it. Now can you guys start working on the youtube app or make the zune hd flash?

Thank you for the Facebook app. It is working great now. I love it. Now I would really like a way to "play a song next" in Now Playing instead of always adding to the end of the list. Just a suggestion. Thank you for your hard work Zune team.

the facebook app is a premature release as long as we had to wait i think a few more weeks of incubation would have been worth it for a perfect app

yeah the new facebook app is cool but it would be better if there was an app for windows live mail so we can send messages to anyone or a messenger would be cool too

I download the App and though it is slow, I found it to be pretty nice for a rushed version. I had no problems once it logged on and I can see all of the Profile pics, notifications, and am able to update my status. The only poblem is chat and videos. Why in Gods name can't the HD play videos and when I try to chat on FB it freezes up. Otherwise thanks for even getting a FB app out there!

Thanks DjSmitty. I did what you mentioned (deleted and then re-downloaded directly on Zune device) and it works great now! Thanks Zune team for the app. Wish it would have worked functioned correctly without a workaround, but still grateful to have it (and in working order now) nonetheless.
