Will the Facebook and Twitter apps come out this year as promised at launch?

When will the 3D SDK or whatever you call it be released, so there can be 3rd party 3D games?

@Jessica Zahn, the thing about DVD ripping though is that some people like me already have the DVD sitting in our house, but we want to put it on the Zune HD , WITHOUT BUYING THE TV SERIES OR MOVIES ALL OVER AGAIN!

Just saying, love the podcast.

Most people like me already have Dvd's of TV shows and movies just sitting in our house. But we can't put it on the Zune HD, unless we BUY IT ALL OVER AGAIN.

It's just too expensive to shell out double.

Just Saying, Love the podcast!~:)

I am excited about this overall update, but where is the important update for the zune so we can get some net video and radio goin.

I agree with Ivan. For people who have already purchased DVD's prior to having a Zune, it does not make economical sense to have to pay for another 'legal' copy of the same content.

Also, while Zune Marketplace has a fairly nice video collection, not everything is necessarily available on Zune Marketplace as you could find in retail stores or even on the iTunes store. That's just yet another reason why the Zune team needs to make more deals with studios or networks!

Can't wait to see some more Zune goodies.

will we be able to watch youtube videos or any videos from the zunes internet?

You stated that you get a list of new content every week. Is it possible to make that list available in the Marketplace so it's easier for us to find the new content that we're interested in?

I hope the AMrketplace is getting ready to unload a big batch of Christmas specials and movies. I went to see if there was anything before I travelled home for Thanksgiving and there were 6, none of which a wanted to download.

@Oclvtrek I track them at ZuneSpring.com and post them everyweek. Your right hopefully they'll post them to the blog so we can all get in on the new content action.

big fan of the Zune HD. bought the zune120 previously, but that was a little bit of a disappointment... pls include flash on this, im kinda starting to regret buying this even though its realllly cool. my ony gripe with it is flash support.... PLS ADD!!!!!

We still need flash support and open up the app store to the public. Thats all it takes for the zune to be the best pmp. its not difficult people. doing things half way is not the RIGHT way

Facebook and Twitter apps on Zune? Why? I can't even connect to the internet thru my HD. How about working on those issues first. Not to mention, if I want to go to FB or Twitter, I can do that on my phone, from anywhere! How about fixing the screen saver so I can choose when to enable it, or put back the option to mark podcasts as "played" or "unplayed" like I could on my 30gb. You're working on too much "fluff" to make the HD look good.  Why don't you make it work first, then add to it!

Dear Zune Team,

Please take this note into consideration.

I know you want to make a little more money off of ads in your applications but, come on now, you want your Zune Nation something that they can brag about. When you have 50%+ market share, then stick some ads, but for right now, no, just NO. I don't care if it's f...ree.

Flash Support in your browser, i bet you are already developing it, but can you speed it up? Like i mentioned before, Zune Nation needs something better than HD radio and a overpriced dock.

Who needs 100k apps when half are just plain dumb. Fart apps? Come on.

Develop a few good apps, again, don't promote your own messenger, get all of the major players into a IM app, get text message in there too.

Get some kind of email support, please. :(

Make iPod users cry.

That is all.

@Wade: if u run through the full podcast, it goes into like a sdaded thing, so u can always differentiate between watched n unwatched podcasts on ur device.

Zune insider how come no podcast since 20th??? I thought every week you come out with one. I guess you don't want to face the "angry mob" scene who are awaiting the apps promised , (like kids waiting on ur front porch on halloween). Cmon Zune team, u have the touch to compete with, and u already have better hardware. Just have to pick it up in the software front, and being "Microsoft" that shudnt be so difficult.... rite...???

I wouldnt mind a FB app or the capability to watch youtube on my Zune HD and some other Useful apps soon. (typed on my Zune HD)

Chaz... We will be releasing a new Zune Insider episode this week (Friday, Dec 4th). We just took a week off for the holiday.

It is not a problem.. If you have the DVD's in your house already in any format posible, using "dvdFab" or if u have already ripp u just have to format them on "MP4" using the program "anyVideoConverter" or any other that u know . Create a file in your computer To put all the videos. Then go to your ZUNEsoftware go to support and add the file to the media.. I donnt know if this help.. but good luck

At 10:30 of the show Patrick begins a discussion about the suggested songs feature.  Well at least for me it does not work.  Check a forum post started by Snapped or myself regarding the trouble several of us are having. Also clicking the credit does not give me a list of my top played Zune Pass songs.  How can I get a formal response from the product team regarding the problem I am having?

DEAR MICROSOFT I JUST WANTED TO LET U KNOW IM VERY DISSAPOINTED WITH THE ZUNE HD  WHY THE FACT THAT IT DONT HAVE ENOUGH APPS 2. INTERNET BROWSER IS LAME COMPARED TO THE ITOUCH THEY CAN WATCH YOUTUBE VIDEOS WE CANT  U NEED TO FIX THAT  NONTHELESS U NEED APPS LIKE TWITTER FACEBOOK WHICH ARE COMING SOON BUT UR ALSO MISSING MYSPACE

Ok people. I've heard a lot about videos on the Zune and already having the DVD and such. BE SMART PEOPLE. There's something called ripping Dvd's and then converting it. Yes it sounds very tedious but Microsoft just DIDN"T WANT TO SUPPORT MORE TYPES OF FORMATS. Now, I need to convert it which takes around 4 hours to convert a whole movie. Instead we should be able to drag and drop any type of file. AVI deff looks better than WMA, so I don't know why Zune doesn't support it. I hope there's an update in the future for the program. Apple is a B!tch about that stuff too. If you want to get people to actually watch movies on the Zune, then actually make it support all formats!
