Big day for Zune and Xbox fans…and anyone else out there still trying to decide if they should get a Zune HD and Xbox. This morning the Zune team launched Zune video to Xbox LIVE in 18 countries*. Zune video delivers a pretty amazing viewing experience with its ability to stream, instant-on HD video in 1080p and 5.1 channel surround sound. No waiting for downloads or buffering! The team also added a few more features such as Party mode, where you can watch a video with up to seven friends through voice chat and Avatars on your TV screen. There is a search function so you don’t have to scroll through tons of titles just to get to the one you are looking for, and for TV shows in the US…buy them once and you can watch them on your PC, Zune HD and on your Xbox!

When will the zune market place come to my PC in Canada?

@Otto: I sure hope Zune (wink) since this video marketplace is there. Can we at least have a video marketplace? Pretty please? Oh and the ZuneHD, cause WANT

Dont ohld your breath. It was suppose to come fall 08, thats what was announced at CES 08...and we havnt heard ANYTHING about it since.

What about a Zune Marketplace software I can install on my Windows Phone (even Beta)?

So cool! Glad I've got xbox live, big time!

Now there is no excuse not to do a video zune insider to demo this!

Hi, any news on when zune video on mexico?!!!!!

Still behind the times Microsoft, I'll stick with my Apple TV and iPod touch. At least I can get movies, TV shows and music on my HD TV and portable device in Australia! Try and catch up MS!

I was checking out the Zune Marketplace on Xbox Live and was disappointed that each movie has to be individually paid for. I'd definitely subscribe to a video Zune pass if one ever becomes available. Sseriously, I only have to pay $8.99/mo to get both dvds by mail AND instant HD and SD streaming on Xbox from Netflix, so why doesn't Zune try out a little competition.

can i use the xbox Zune video on an Zune 120 GB  if i dont have a Zune HD

Zune should go international, with or without marketplace, but sell the zune hd @euroope!!

Well they failed again, I guess, I mean as far as I can tell, say if u downloaded a vid off ZUNE MARKET PLACE ON XBOX360 you can not then transfer it to your ZUNE, amazing how they F up everything, but I will still get and just download my videos straight from the COMPUTER to my ZUNE, Microsoft do yall even care about your fans ?

I am still waiting for "fall '09" for MS to release the Zune HD in Canada.  Great getting the marketplace on my 360 and all, but what about the HD hardware?

What a rip! I just bought a new 120 GB Zune direct from MS itself, and they never bothered to tell me that ZunePass is available in Canada. So video is available in 18 countries - big hairy deal. WIthout ZunePass I own a $225 paperweight. No wonder Zune can't pick up market share. They treat their customers like garbage.
