no one has gotten a zune original. mabye u guys should read zune.net forums instead of pissing people off even more

I really like listening to your podcast!

Listening to this podcast, I always am learning something new  for my Zune.

I know that the Zune is not supported in Europe but I had to send a Zune HD to my niece in Athens. She already has the Zune30 that I gave her as a present few years back and she just fancies it a lot.

why didnt you guys really address the zune originals you touched on it breifly with the redemtion codes but you didint address the physical delay, none ofthe zune hds ordered through ZO have shipped yet

how come my zune wont sync with my new software

You guys should add the ability to play a video with music from the device. Obviously, the sound that is supposed to go with the video should be muted.

Listening right now - little late buy what the hey - so are they going to have any sizes large than 32 GB HD?  a 64 would fit my life awesomely.

I love the new release. The software is still the best.

I just have one question. There is one thing drives me nuts with the marketplace and I hoped it would be fixed in this upgrade.

When you scroll through all the artists, if you click on one and go back, it goes back to the top instead of returning to where you were at. Is there a way to stop this?

K4ot1K-I agree with you about the problem when jumping back after clicking on an artist (or even worse for me-a podcast).  I don't understand this at all.  A fix would be a great thing (hint)!

Not sure how to say this nicely, but the Zune team is shooting themselves in the foot! I have a 16g HD and I love it, but man guys, the apps section is embarrassing. And yes, we've all heard the statements, "we're not here to compete with Apple, but they're going to suck even more folks in the vortex if Zune doesn't capitalize on these things. And for God's sake, you put an "Apps" section there so it must be for SOMETHING besides these cheesy games. C'mon! Huge fanfare leading up to the release, then the streamers come down, confetti is released, and less than two weeks later....NOTHING. No news, nothing. But Apple is just rocking the airwaves with their trite commercials and new Nano with a camera (puleeze). Would you guys PLEASE come out with something or at least make plans to announce something?????

Why did they make the Zune HD require the dock to play video?  I used the standard AV cable on my 80gb zune directly plugged in for video on my in dash unit in my car.  Now I have the 32 gb Zune HD and have to have the dock and the power supply plugged in.. Do not understand this requirement unless it was to increase sales of the Zune dock.. I was disappointed with this.  Also why not have the nice "dashboard" when connected to A/V instead of having the basic black menu?

Can anyone explain to me what was upgraded from the 3.1 to the 3.2 Zune software on the "old" device. I have a 120GB original and nothing seems updated to me. The site is a bit nicer but I spend more time interacting with my device and use the webiste for maintenance. And why oh why can't you download WMA mobile video files to this device??

For the next firmware/software update, can you please support more files types. Everyone rsgs on Apple on the limited codec support. If you support more file types - even if the software 1st converts the file before syncing it to the Zune - then you'll get more geek cred.

Here's the list of files types you need to support: AVI, divx, XviD.

Feature suggestion for the Zune HD player: Have a "table mode" where the touchscreen stays active after it goes dark. Touching the screen in table mode would make the screen active (no curtain), and then you can just tap one more time to bring up the media controls. This would make it a little more user-friendly when out of pocket and sitting next to me on my desk.

Suggestion 2 (bonus!) - Make menu items "pin-able". I'd like to be able to pin things like wireless on/off, and the aforementioned "table" mode.

Glad to hear you know of at least one issue I have with the new software & hardware. Can you please get someone on the team to look at the issues I have listed at forums.zune.net/ShowPost.aspx some just need an answer while other should be addressed & hopefully released soon like the fact that the 4.0 software like killing my Internet.

gotta admit, since got hd16 have not picked up my ipo* Tou* ...this thing is awsome still learning it!  Great job.
