Congratulations on the new software and new Zune. It is a winner all around, it is my 4th Zune and is definitely exceeding my expectations.

It's funny, on the ZuneInsider homepage, the article is cut off so it reads:  "Winner will get a Zune HD..."  I got excited because I thought I could win a Zune HD!  But hey, a frisbee is pretty cool too.

Loved the podcast and all the new changes this week!

I keep getting "Zune marketplace is temporarily unavailable. Please check back soon." It reminds me of when the last Xbox 360 update was released.

Hey, can you guys discuss what changes happened in the 3.1 -> 3.2 firmware for the older Zunes? Or is there a release notes somewhere that says what changed? The Zune HD is great, but not all of us can rush out to buy one right away.

I should have said this in my last post, but great job guys!  There's so much cool stuff, and some of it I didn't know about until I listened to the podcast, such as the 10 credit recommendations.  That's something I'll be using a lot now.  And streaming Zune Pass content online is great too.  There's been a number of occasions where I wished I could have done that. I now actuallly look at my "Picks" because they actually work. And everyone knows by now how cool Smart DJ is!

What is being done about the WMA license expiring on purchased music using Points, I have close to 300 songs that lost its license since updating to 4.0.  I don't use Zune pass.

I LOVE THE SOFTWARE!!! but... since I haven't gotten the HD yet (almost there though!) I am really sad for my Zune80. I feel like its so last year and outdated. And that was what I luved about Zune they didn't push us to buy a new device but they were amazing enough to do a firmware updates. Yes the HD is SUPER AMAZING but I would still like our senior devices to get a lil lovin to  

Hi, I was just wondering if you are ever going to add the Band of Brothers series from HBO to the Zune Marketplace. It would be great to see it in HD on the ZuneHD. Oh, by the way, i just posted this from my ZuneHD!!!!!

I hope you guys are listening to the influentials in the blogosphere.  Ditch the ads on the games, and figure out a way to get third-party apps on the Zune HD.  You have a winner here, and people are, probably for the first time, actually behind you.  They're genuinely excited.  It would be easy to keep that fire stoked, but it would also be easy to lose all that goodwill.  

Don't blow it, guys.

I know you guys are probably tired of hearing about apps, where's the apps, well my question is about the ability to watch youtube videos and listen to internet radio, do you guys know if such a plan is in the works!?

Love the djmix u guys did great. Just remove the ads combine your app store with the WinMo and you will be like kings and queens.

I Love my Zune Hd but hoping that Microsoft will be able to keep up with movies like itunes.  I see Wolverine available on itunes but not zune marketplace. Also, am loving the movie trailers but there just aren't enough yet.  I'm not really bothered with the ads before the apps but I guess if they were a little shorter that would always be better, but there aren't enought apps there yet to even care.  Love my Zune hd but bring on more entertainment.

Adam Carolla Podcast not updating...Downloads dont download completely from marketplace. But overall its awesome, u converted an Apple user!

I bought the zune hd from Dell with the 15% discount.  Had my fingers crossed but I got my zune on the 17th.  Yes!!  I also used bing cashback to get a $12 credit.  I paid about $235  plus tax for a 32 gig zune after it was all said and done.  What a bargain!!

the smart dj playlist feature is broken.  It keeps telling me that it cannot find similar songs to established artists like coldplay, etc.  Something is definitely wrong.  

I have video Glasses that work with my 120. Will they work with a Zune HD? Also what about my current car charger/ FM transmitter, will they work with the Zune HD. I also have some converted wmv files that work on my 120. Will they work on the HD?

Can you spend some time talking about what was new in the new firmware for the non HD zunes.  I have looked for a view which shows my most reciently download songs but I cannot find that feature.  Just what is cool and new for those of us that have had the original zunes since day one?

You mentioned on that 'cast "who would want to cancel their Zune pass".  Well, I had the 2-week trial version linked to the wrong sign on; So when I went to do a 3-month renewal, I used my current user name.  Fast forward 12 months, I realized I was getting billed on the old account the whole time (the card was even expired, don't know how they kept billing me!). I didn't see the bills because one was monthly and one was every 3 months.  I didn't put one and one together. Anyway, I finally cancelled the monthly service after never using the pass.  This was the first time I was introduced to the billing.microsoft.com website.

Love the Zune HD, I'm using it everywhere I go.  4.0 is an improvement too!

I bought a zune original on the 17 of Sept., but haven't received a confirmation email or know how to track my order. The zune store doesn't provide a link for me to track or information to contact a rep.

Thank you for the awesome software and of course, the awasomest device called ZuneHD. I am a proud owner of two Zunes now, Zune30 and ZuneHD 32 (platinum).

Hey guys. Love the new software and the overall design of it. I've downloaded 4.0 and for some weird reason I can't get new episodes of my podcasts loaded on my zune 30, eventho I've updated the firmware on the player. Can anyone out there help me?

Guys, as much as I love my Zune HD, I wish you would go ahead and either release a full SDK for apps(with a plan for developers to sell them) or tell us what the app plans are.  The box says games on it, and that means games NOW, not November.  And please get rid of the ads, maybe in front of a 3d graphics intensive game, but not on the basic XNA things it launched with.

Can you update the Zune desktop software to include:

1) support for more video formats: i.e. divx. At the very least support avi files! I'm not saying that these files need to play natively on the Zune (although that would be nice). I'm asking that these formats play in the desktop software and are then converted/encoded to a Zune player compatible format when synced to the device.

2) Make the playback bar longer. The bar is way too small. I try to skip thru a playing video but it is hard to be very precise since the bar is so small.

3) Provide a 30 second skip button in the desktop software to allow you to skip a commercial.

I am not having any of the problems listed above. I am running windows 7 RC and loving every minute of Zune and Win7. When you going to let us get some access to the app store. I want to send in a few apps for approval. Ps porting over iphone apps works like a charm.
