Just so you know, my wallet is on fire waiting for the release of the Zune HD.
"iPhone devs offered cash to code for the Zune HD?"

I'd gladly develop for the ZuneHD. I'm a hard core Zuner who happens to be a developer but I was going to get the iPhone 3GS but then I heard how developer unfriendly the approval process is. Microsoft (Zune Team), offer up a SDK, and developers will gladly start coding for the Zune platform. If you offer it this month and there is not an approval (aka censoring) process, then you'll have a handful of good apps by the time for the ZuneHD launch.
Can you tell us something about the software? Is 4.0 coming the night before Apple's event? Remember last year? I already pre-ordered... I can't wait!!!
I think we should have all the information on the zune HD by now. With preorders officially going I would think its time to let everyone know ALL the features, talk about the 4.0 software. If the HD will have apps. More buyers are going to want to make an INFORMED decision yet most of even the gadget community is in the dark. I really hope I have the money to buy one but at the same time I would like to know more about what I am buying.
It is important to demand a certain quality at the store you're going to call "apps". However, the most important thing is to deliver an easy way to code, and distribute programs for the platform. Developers doesn't only need to see the potential of the device itself, but has to be given possibilities and an easy way to distribute their apps.
I hope you take the Apps-part extremely serious. It's make or break really. However, having said that I definitely think that the way Zune is going to be special, is how it will play games. People still want useful apps though - have some Microsoft developers take it for a spin (e-mail for example).
Good luck with this guys..
I already pre-order from Amazon.
Good work Zune teams :)
Is Zune 4.0 going to start offering PREORDERS on new albums/CDs? I usually order from Zune EXCEPT when it's an albums I absolutely have to have on release date. iTunes (YUK) offers this.
@jaxim have you developed anything for the current gen of zune? Because there is an sdk for that.
Cant tell you how much I want a zunehd. But I really wish they would talk more about what is coming with it in terms of software. Its been official for a week or two now but stil no in depth news on this site or any other site about a software update, some new features really and stuff. Exciting but disappointing at the same time. I like to have substance to look forward too
Hey brian, great job on that podcast. I know it couldn't have been easy being surrounded by that mac fanboy/girl combo. That podcast is nothing but itouch/iphone worship. Anyways i can't wait to get my ZuneHD. I bet you couldn't wait to get out of there.
I have a question for you guys: Which accessories would you recommend getting with the launch of the zune HD? Also, which do you fins yourself using the most?
When will Zune Marketplace be available in Canada?
