Okay peeps, here we go -

It's time for another exciting episode of the Zune Insider podcast!

This week, Matt and I talk with Sean Neumann, who came up with the contest idea to name a background in Zune - and we tell you what name we've chosen! Sean does a little trading Zunes of his own, too. We talk about the recent article by Donald Bell of CNET about the Zune HD and how much it rocks, we answer questions from listeners, and of course we discuss new music and video in the Zune Marketplace.

Get this episode as a download in the Zune Marketplace software - here or listen now from the Zune Insider Podcast page at Zune.net.

Bring the Zune Pass, and full marketplace to Canada. Only then will it rock!!

Fresh podcast, I enjoyed it once more.

I want my ZuneHD badly and you know what...it will make the perfec compagnion with my sexy brown Zune30.

Since no one seems to want to recommend a film (unless they haven't gone through all of the channels yet), I want to toss one out there:

Mr and Mrs. Smith! Booyah!

I wanna be in the UI team tooo!! LOL! studying studying...

Ummm

Pirates Of Silicon Valley poster

or

TITANIC!!

LOL

and "Duplicity" poster tooo!

VERY interesting movie, you guy should go see it, the movie relate to you really much!

perfect poster for 2 the soloist

Jessica, you said in the podcast that the Zune HD has been announced for a US release, but you seemed to deliberately NOT state with any certainty that the release won't happen overseas. If there is no international release can you please let us know in no uncertain terms so us non-US Zune owners can avoid getting our hopes up?

Thanks for the great podcast.

I'm excited about the Zune HD and all the news from it so far, however will the device be able to play digital copies of movies?  This is a problem with the current generation zunes. DVD's that include digital copies that you are able to download in wmv format but not compatible with the zune device.  Any wink or a nod as a clue that this is one of the things being discuss with the development of the Zune HD.

Is there any way you can post links to the song/album recommendations?

"For our princess"???

What does that mean?

I have an awesome movie poster that you should Photoshop you faces into. LOL

Matt - I emailed you and never got a response buddy! I guess you guys are pretty busy there at Zune HQ eh ;)

The two songs I recommened on the Podcast were:

Wet and Rusting by Menomena

Just as I am by Molly McCue

I hope the Zune HD has a large hard drive. I have almost 90Gigs used of my 120. I have ~60 movies on my Zune now. I would be willing to give up ~20 to convert the rest to high-def. This would allow me to use the Zune as a portable media extender on the TVs around the house and on the go. Which I sort of do now but with high-def it would be much more slick!

haya Matt N Jess, great job as always.

One question, can you guys update the Zuneinsider podcast art that comes with every download? It's really low res when it gets transferred to the Zune and doesn't look so good to be honest! Would be nice, thanks!

OK, folks, enough with the teasing.  Will Zune HD and/or the next release of the Zune UI software fix these BUGS:

1)  You cannot scroll the description or title of Podcasts.  What's the point of having to use the computer to read the title of a Podcast?

2)  The artificial split between Video and Audio Podcasts is in the Zune UI ONLY!  Not in the Zune software, not in the Podcast universe!  WHY?!  Some Podcasts send audio and video on the same feed, but different episodes (Check out Zune Insider!) but the current UI doesn't display/play them in order.

3)  Clock?  What clock?  Why doesn't the clock display on the screen during playback?  Hello?

4)  Some text is TOO DIM!  Why not make it all the same brightness.  I cannot read the time mark when a Podcast is playing.  Why dim it at all?

If Zune HD is not fixing these, can we at least get confirmation that you WILL FIX THESE?  Why would anyone spend another $200+ when you guys won't fix the software bugs already known and documented?

Sheeesh!

it will make the perfec compagnion with my sexy brown Zune30.

I wanna be in the UI team tooo!!..
