Have you seen Windows Live lately? If not, check it out - it's become a great way to aggregate your activity online. You can include your Facebook updates, photos you post to Flickr, custom RSS feeds for your own blog...and now, your Zune Social activity!

Your Windows Live friends can see when you earn new badges, write album reviews, leave comments, or add new Zune Social friends. Check it out.

How to add Zune to your Windows Live profile:

1.      Go to http://profile.live.com/WebActivities/Add.aspx?appid=6333180533609995

2.      Log-in to your account (your Zune account must use the same Windows Live ID as your Windows Live account)

3.      Click “Add Zune”

The Zune social would take off more if the hardware allowed for optional alerts when fellow Zuners are close and/or attempting to send you something. I live in NYC and I never see any fellow Zuners roaming around, partly because I don't walk around the city watching my Zune's screen. I've given up on this feature and have turned off the wireless to conserve battery life. But if a new firmware update allowed for audible alerts, then I'd put the wireless back on.

Great! I've been waiting for this for a long time!

This option is really nice, it will help us spead the word about cool stuff going on at Zune.

Done!  (Cool....)

Thanks I just added mine :)

Now I have a suggestion.  Please add an indicator or sound which tells me how much time I have left before I need to sync my subscription content.  It is very frustrating to have it just become unplayable without any warning.  If I say a prompt that said "You have 3 days to sync with your PC", what would be cool.  Mostly I just plug My Zune into the wall adapter each night and don't attach to my computer.

Yep, I added this the first day it was available, but none of my Zune info is transferring over.  Any ideas?

How about opening the social to other sites like Facebook, Friendfeed, Lifestream.fm, rss? I would love to be sharing my recent listens to non-Zune users.

Is there any way to link a windows live account and Social account if they use different live ids? I live in Ireland and the social will not work with my main hotmail account so I had to set up a separate USA account to use zune. I would love to link it to my main live id though. Any ideas or workarounds?

I like this truly useful option. thanks

None of this matters in Canada

i agree with the social alerts. that would help alot.also i think you should be able to have more settings options on the zune, insted of haveing to plug it up all the time to do playlist add or add to playlist.someone that has over 6,000 songs wouldnt remimber every single one when i go to sync it.un till i ride down the street an come across it again.all so.videos.i have over 70 moves and dvds, music videos on my zune.would be nice if u could make videos play in order or be able to make a playlist.im always having to stop my car to change videos.b/c i play my zune off my tvs in my car.love this video output feature!!!

Love the new look, need 64 gigs as well an apps store and games for this beauty to shine.

Can't wait to get this.

That's a great feature! It will make me more social with my friends. Thanks!
