Of all music genres, none is as uniquely American as jazz. It’s also the style that has been most open to innovation and experimentation, and it’s easy to track how jazz has changed in its nearly 100 years of existence. Zune’s Jazz Collection is a painstakingly researched and compiled journey, from the initial wave of Dixieland and big band through the liberating sounds of bop and fusion. If the legacies of Louis, Duke, Bird, Trane, Miles, Monk or Mingus have intrigued you, then drink up the whole history of jazz with one click using your Zune Pass on the Jazz Collection in the Zune Marketplace.

The Fusion still needs some work anytime Kenny G shows up as one of the main artist

I play the trumpet in my high school jazz band.  And we're pretty good.  Jazz is just awesome, but I have to agree with Linwood about Kenny G.

Have you thought of doing something similar for Bassa Nova? I love the collection idea. I like it very much.

You will note that Mr. G was left off The Jazz Collection. It wasn't an oversight. (wink wink)
