Cesar, you'll always be ok in my book. You were the voice of the Zune since the beginning, keeping us on the inside, as much as the corporate leash would allow ya. Best wishes to where ever you land, and thanks for all the times you showed up at the 'rama for whatever. Always let me know you were out there, listening, keeping that conduit open for the fans. Hey Cesar. Thanks for everything man.  I know the Zune has been fighting an up hill battle, but thanks for sticking in there.  The Zune is a great piece of hardware and the "Zuniverse" won't be the same with out you.

Also, I apologize for the ridiculous use of the word Zuniverse.

Cesar, you did what you could do and for that I truly appreciate all of your hard work.  I really appreciated you coming into ZDNET to try to tamp down the FUD after CES.  You will always have a place in the Zune Community, and for those of us that are there and anywhere we might go.

Thanks for everything Cesar! You were the face of the Zune community and we are all sad to see you go. Hopefully, the recently announced Microsoft layoffs wouldn't affect any more people from the Zune team, as we need all the support we can get from the Zune team!

Cesar, I am stunned, and greatly sadden by this news.  I love the Zune because of the community, and who was the face and voice of the community? - You.  Thank you for all you've done to bring us together.  I have never been a fan of anything until I got the Zune, and thought it was so cool that I had the chance to hang with you at Lolita's on the Lower East Side in New York City.  I will be reading your blog, and wishing best wishes with all my might from my little part of the universe.  Stay ok Cesar.  You'll will be sorely missed.

Dude, u been here since day one and so have i. i read all your blogs and everything. i remember your first blog on this site introducing the Zune and i am greatly appreciated by all your good work... IF IT WASN'T FOR YOU, THE ZUNE WOULD HAVE NEVER CAME THIS FAR!

What is wrong with E&D at Microsoft?  Do they not care about those building community?  Cesar on the Zune the guys at Gamerscore blog on the XBOX side.  What a mistake.

Shoot, sorry to hear you are leaving Cesar.  I met Cesar briefly in NYC during a Zune party in the Lower East Side/LoHo area.  Cesar was a terrific guy to meet and later when myself and other NYC Zun-ites started a little club for the player Cesar was great in supporting us.  Cesar; to you and your family I wish you all the best.
