Early this AM, Zune issued a press release that I think addresses some questions that a lot of folks have commented on: "how do I get a Zune 16 in other colors?"

Answer? Zune Originals. Head over there to pick up your 16gb Zune in a variety of colors: red, pink, blue, black and green (green while supplies last). Also debuting today: 14 eye-catching new designs from artists such as Rolito, MWM (Matt W. Moore), Ippei Gyoubu and Aya Kato.

More details about Zune in the press release - enjoy!

When will the 120gb hit zune original?

I'd also like to know if multi-colored 120gb Zune Originals are imminenet. Some sort of range would help me make an informed buying decision. i.e. Before years end, I'd probably upgrade and get a red or blue (if available). More that 6 months, I may get a black one or just stick with my 80gb till the next hardware revision.

Cesar, any pictures of what the Zune 120's plastic back looks like with the laser engraving?  There's lots of pictures out there with the engraving on the brushed alumimum (or whatever material) is on the back of 2nd gen.

I want MPEG-4 Part 2 support and a freaking taskbar mini player!!

Sweet in 3.0 we finnally got a clock!

The new software and firmware are really nice and finally a CLOCK!!!!!

I'm bummed because I was waiting to take the plunge on a Zune, but now the artist design that I wanted is gone.  Cesar, what gives with some of the designs being dropped?  I con't see why an existing design would have to go.

Justin, the 120 GB Zune is already at Zune Originals.  Follow the link:

Bobbie, is that mock up what you're after or do you want an actual photograph?

Cesar, I, too, would love to get any sort of rough estimate on a blue 120GB Zune and I can't see any problem with offering it in red as well if the 120 is the same size as the 80GB.  Shouldn't the faceplates be interchangable?

Oh, and I second Jason's complaint about the dropped designs.  I prefer the elegant and classic (which seem to be in the minority) to the ultrafunk designs that are so prevalent at Zune Originals.

I understand that it was in your best interest to slim down the selection to keep the current selection menu simple and add a few new designs, but I'd rather have the flash design selector redesigned than have a couple of the decent designs yanked out of my hands.

Was it just an issue of your license to some of the older designs expiring or did you simply weed out designs that had lower sales numbers? In any case, the dandelion with the hearts at the end of the stalks was one of the few designs that I would choose to engrave on a Zune for my female cousins and it appears to be gone for good.

Everything works really well and I actually woke up early this morning just to update. I'm happy with everything except for the missing Asian Language Support. I'm getting kind of tired of boxes.

I want my white 120!! >_< Don't make me waiiit! We knowww about them already! =P

I would really like a blue 120
