Another week, another Zune Insider podcast! This week, we're talking to Javier Farfan in multicultural marketing about our efforts in Hispanic culture. And, as always, we'll be taking your questions. So here's your chance: what do you want to know? Drop a comment.

Hopefully last week's podcast with Jessica answered a good deal of questions, specifically around the software development process here at Zune, why we only do major releases vs. a every 2 weeks, how long-term is our planning, and more.

It would be nice to see more localized Latin music. There are great artist and genres in each country that would be really enriching to share, buy and download.

Sell this device worldwide. You can see them in South America and Europe but not real support or a Marketplace it would be nice to have it worldwide.

It would nice to see more music from other countries besides Mexico. Do not get me wrong Mexican music is good,  but 90% pf the music is either Mexican or reggeton, and we as hispanics are so rich in music that it would be nice to see more artist and genres form other countries and music styles.

When is the Zune coming to Australia?

Is there a way to attach album art to a podcast that didn't come from a proper podcast feed (e.g. mp3s with the genre set to 'podcast')

Can you please fix the Tags on the file in your RSS feed. I use Juice to download my Podcasts. The file from your feed has almost no tags. This is embarrassing (two weeks in a row). The Zune software won't recognize it as a podcast unless it has a Genre of Podcast. An episode title would be nice too.

More specificaly, (a lot more) music from the caribean should be included. More merengue and salsa. How does a small record lable get in touch with you? Do you approach them? How do you decide which artists you work with and develop a page for?

i would like to see Zune in Latin America. And not only the device, but also the marketplace.

We like something new, we are bored of Ipods!.

It would be nice to have some customization options to the appearance of the zune software their is a hack you can download but it is buggy to say the least. And I don’t know what your planes are for the update but more video support would be really nice like AVI (DivX) thanks.

I'd love to hear more commentary on where zune team wants podcast support going. I listen to lots of podcasts and 2.5 didn't bring some features like being able to subscibe to premium podcasts that require a login and password.

How about for video being able to pre-convert the video files into a usable format on zune, without it having to be plugged in?

When is the Zune coming to the UK? Why is it so locked down for non US / Canada residents? I can understand the lack of access to the purchase of music, due to rights, different markets etc, but the social aspect???

How about video support for the small guys? 8/4GB

Changing the home page of the zune.net once in a while.

How often do you guys update the marketplace pages. I've been visiting the Rock en Español page for at least two months and it still shows the same old and outdated albums. It seems that the whole latin music part of your website is neglected. I would also like to know why is it that songs that aren't listed on AMG don't get listed on the Social profile, that's really a feature that Zune lacks. the whole idea of the Social is being able to find people with similar tastes, if I listen some obscure peruvian band I would like to know who else listens to it and what else that person enjoys. Being married to AMG is a terrible choice that limits the usefulness and reach of the Social. That's one of the reasons Last.fm is light years ahead of Zune.

Wait until the 9th when apple brings their new stuff and prices and then we should talk.

Release the Zune officially in the UK. I have a Red Zune 8gb and my friend has a Zune 80gb and we need marketplace support!

How about adding an audible low-battery alert? I love the "Play all" feature for catching up on podcasts, but hate it when the battery dies mid-show and loses my place so I have to start a long show over again after it's charged.

I'd like the Zune team and the Windows Media Player team to get together and talk about integration.  I want to open EITHER APP and access the same playlists, file meta-data, play statistics.  If I play something in Media Player, Zune Social should know (Live Messenger does!)...and if I play a file in Zune then the 'last played' and 'number of plays' in my WMP should be updated.

And if Zune can play MP4, then why can't Windows Media Player?

Hey, an idea...why not just develop ONE media player!?

When will Zune be hitting other areas in the world? Europe, Asia, Australia etc.

1. Is the Zune Marketing team only targeting the Latin & Hispanic culture? or is the team separated into regions?...

2. Also are there any plans to focus on Hispanic American Music as Zune is mostly marketed to the USA..

3. Will Zune promotional concerts/partnerships be advertised further on the Zune website?

4. Since you are answering marketing questions What is up with the DNC and RNC getting free Custom Zunes?

Pl. work with Bose/Polk/KEF/Sony/Onkyo and give us more options to access the best sound systems and receivers.

Is there going to be anymore special artists that aren't Latin? I mean I like some of that genre but I love rock. And are you going to target more colleges with promotional stuff? Like college booths and other places college aged indivduals hang out.

1) Can we get eBook support? When?

2) Can we get a sync option that allows songs to remain on the Zune but be deleted from the PC (I'm out of room...)

3) Can we get an option for corporate travelers that would download and sync podcasts based on subscription info on the device?  (my home PC is linked to the zune, but when I travel, I still want to update my podcasts and have to do this from my corporate laptop...)

4) Can we get 'plays for sure' support for songs we bought prior to Zune?

5) Can we get a 120GB Zune?  (Oh wait...never mind...)

what's the news on auto converting Media Center recorded television .DRV-MS files?

need need need it since that was my motivation for buying the Zune in the first place.

I have a Zune player but i traveled to Guatemala and I cant install the software... why ?!
