Podcasting guru Paul Colligan writes about Zune and podcasting, around the New Media Expo coming up in a few weeks, and more. Check it out!
And speaking of Zune and podcasts, did you see the CNet article that named Zune the best MP3 player for podcasts? Not bad!
Duuuuuude....
I've got nothing on the first part.
But the latter's pretty neat. Zune went from no podcast support, to best podcast support literaly overnight (the night before 2.0 update to the morning it was released) Bite that Apple.
It's nice to see the Zune recognised as the best podcast support, but I guess theres alot of other things people are complaining about with the Zune.
I have been a fan ever since they were first working on the idea for the Zune. Cesar, can you please tell me if Microsoft will release it in Australia any time soon? I'm really bummed out about missing out on the Zune. I've emailed the Microsoft exec's here several times and they have passed on formal letters who apparently deal with the releasing of the Zune here in Australia. They rejected the petition I created and the letter.
I loved the Zune so much I even did a college assignment on it, creating a high fidelity prototype of two versions of the Zune, I even sent that to Microsoft. *sigh*
Nice...
I have to say, I am a big fan of listening to podcasts, but there are two features that I really like on the ipod that I am waiting for zune to support. The first thing is the ability to read track information. For example, if you have mulitple songs avaialble on a podcast you can skip to them using the forward button. The second one is how do you identify that you have already listened to a podcast. Let me know if any of the updates have these two features available.
Big day for Zune and Xbox fans…and anyone else out there still trying to decide if they should get a Zune...
