Are there any plans (that you can tell us) to link the Zune to the Live Mesh?  They say that they want to add more devices like mobile phones, so wouldn't Microsofts own portable media device also have plans to be added to the new platform?

Thank you, this is great news! Hopefully this will help out Zune sales. I have a black Zune 80 right now, but I would be willing to give it to my parents, and buy a red one with a store discount. Places like circuit city sometimes have $40 off $200 or more.

This is great and all. But as usual, we're all expecting big updates soon. I hope the next update will add more functionality.

As much as I love my Zune, I can't help but think Microsoft is quite a bit slow at releasing updates of any kind.

At the same time, can you drop a note to the WMP team, and give even a minor update for WMP 11? Like podcasts support better ripping of ID3 tags on CD's? Would be quite nice, since Apple does this all the time with iTunes.

They can change to colour but it's still just a bad zune underneath. They should stick with the colour that matches the product- brown.
