Zune Marketplace Freebies: Crystal Castles; Umalali

Check out Zune Marketplace this week for an eclectic pairing of free tracks. The first is a dance track "Crimewave" by Crystal Castles.

And for fans of African music, check out "méRua," part of the Garifuna Women's Project. From the description on their Social page: "Garifuna music has elements of African, Caribbean, and Native American music, in particular the soca of Trinidad, the reggae of Jamaica, and the rhythms of Cuba."

Both tracks are free and available for download now.

Thanks for the heads up :]

Glad Zune isn't being stingy with free tracks.

Hey thanks, Just a question thought, do you think you could talk to someone over at the Zune place and ask them to fix the website, it acts funky with IE8 beta.

I can't seem to download the Garifuna track.  It says "Album Only" and "The offer you are trying to redeem is invalid." Anybody else have this problem?

rob
