This is it. Number 50. Five-Oh. To celebrate the golden anniversary of New Music Friday, I'm taking DavidMX's suggestion and linking out to 50 tracks. You know, holiday spirit and all that ;)
- First up this week, Aquarium Drunkard posts two Elvis tracks and two Frankel tracks.(NMF-50 track count: 4)
- Check out these 4 tracks from MOKB, from A.A. Bondy and more (NMF-50 track count: 8).
- Stereogum has two tracks, one from Born Ruffians and another from Cadence Weapon (track count: 10)
- IRockCleveland's Extravaganza Bonanza makes getting to 50 easier, by posting 40 tracks!! (track count: 50!)
- Fifty FTW! . . . but wait. . . there's more! Cut Copy, another favorite, has a track at Music For Robots (51)
- This is sweet: Different Kitchen has AmpLive remixing Radiohead's In Rainbows. (52).
- Zunetracks drops a track from North Carolina alt rockers Pounds of Pet. (53)
- Check out ten Holiday-themed tracks at Chromewaves, including three by Zuneinsider favorite Jenn Grant. (63)
- Fluxblog brings us three tracks from great artists, including a Joss Stone MP3. (66).
- Check out Brooklyn Vegan's 6 Holiday themed tracks, including a free Feist track! (72).
- And rounding out this week's New Music Friday: two Latin jazz/rock tracks, over at Soul-Sides. (NMF-50 total track count: 74).
Ok! Seventy-four tracks! Enjoy! Quick note: I'll be taking a vacation next week, back in early January. So no posts until then.
Have a safe Holiday, enjoy the music, and thanks for reading!
