Hey, does anyone know what time the new software/firmware will be released?  (eastern or pacific time?) I need to know whether or not I am pulling an all nighter.

Hmmm... now i don't know if I should go for the green or the red Zune... trying to decide between circuit city or best buy... the Zune 4 or the 8?... Gosh, this life if full of hard decisions. I can't wait any longer! I'm going mad!

Xbox360 updates and releases occur at 0300 EST (0000 PST). I would assume that it would happen then. 0800 GMT for all of you in the UK. Could be different, but I'd assume that it would happen at 0300, as Xbox and Zune happen to be in the same division, and are soon to be roomates.

When is it going to be released outside of the USA ?. As much as I like my Ipod Classic 80 I am not a big fan on itunes(its a pain on Vista).  The Zune 80 would make an ideal replacement(and its been getting good reviews) and let me get rid of itunes.

dynamic searches are available and are better than ever.  click on an artist and start typing to find a specific artist.  when all albums are visible, click on any one and start typing the name and it will show up.  same with songs (when viewing all).  the search box works, but this works so much better and is faster.  a little gray box with your typing shows up too.

@Ben - Why dont Microsoft release Zune outside the USA ?

Why should I go the effort when Microsoft cant be bothered selling outside US or even giving an indication that they intend to do so. They have become masters of not giving an answer to this question.

Microsoft have already said they wont support warranties outside of the USA (although some of the resellers in other countries offer their own).
