I don't know if you've noticed but now whenever the Zune is mentioned on sites like Engadget or Gizmodo, the usual flame wars occur within the comments. But now people who speak positive about the Zune are dugg up and the people who bad mouth for no apparent reason are dugg down.

Will the new Zune software support Vista x64?

BTW, in the November 20, 2007 (printed) issue of PC Magazine, Zune was a "Reader's Choice", very slightly second to iPod.

Also, when are you gonna let Cnet review it? You should let them review it like a week early if possible. =)

Congrats, CNet is never wrong.  Ok, at least this time.  And it's true what Jaxim said.  People are now lining up to support Zune on those sites.

any news on an alarm clock dock? I figure you might have some news considering the 3rd party accessories announcement. Looks like Zune is finally getting the respect it deserves! I think this is going to be a REALLY good year for Zune.

Brandon, I run Vista x64 and the current app runs fine. 32 nd 64bit software run fine on Vista x64.

Now, if you are asking if they're going to offer a 64-bit version of the application, then I doubt it. There is a 64-bit version of Media Player 11 that comes on Vista so it shouldn't be difficult if it's built from Media Player but I would imagine the Zune team is focusing only on 32-bit (at least for now). It's unfortunate especially since encoding could really take advantage of 64-bit but this would also require 64-bit codecs so it may be more difficult if you don't have 64-bit codecs for all of your media.

speaking of cnet, I love how the Buzz Out Loud crew suddenly went from zune haters to zune lovers. =P

Quick Question Ceasar. The glass screen, will it crack easily, say, against a pool table? (I cracked my LCD screen a day after i got the Zune whilst playing pool), and i'd rather not spend another $150 to buy a screen or a Glass Cover for the screen.

zune 30 will have the same features as the 80gb and so on right. we will have updates or will i have to buy an 80Gb
