No mention of the Zune 80 COMPONENT video out cable...

ddv

How do you consider the Microsoft accessories new? is it because they are for the new versions of the Zune? it seems to me you can already get all of those accessories now...

ddv

Ricardo Dawkins

cool...does the Zune packaging comes with new pouch ?

Jeff

those in the pic are the old accessories. the new docks are square.

Kris

Isn't that picture of the old accessories? the new ones sound like nice improvements on last years!

Ahd Child

What about a wired remote? That's the one accessory I've been waiting for (without the whole travel pack). I'm sure there are other Zune30 (and future Zune80) users who feel the same way.

Malory1

Sweetness. Might have to get one of those leather cases. Got to be classy at the office...

Spencer Wagner

I just checked the zune.net page and there is nothing on there that hasn't been on there since the new zunes were announced.  Maybe it will just take a while to get the new stuff up?

Ranger_000

Any chance of an armband for the Zune 4/8?  I would rather not have to put it in my pocket, or even go the route of a handy man and duct tape it to my arm...  Ouch!

Chris Hammond

I hope the redesigned FM transmitter in the carpack works this time. I've tried two different car packs from Zune and they both are horrible.

ZappCatt

So....what about the original accessories? Will they still work on the old units? ;-)

Will they work on the Gen 2 zunes?

Will these NEW accessories work on the OLD Zunes?

Any reason why a new Gen 1 owner would wait to buy these accessories over the old accessories?

Anyone know of blowouts sales on the "old" accessories(kinda like how the 30gb Zunes are going for 30% old reatil price?)

Gordon

Will there be new Inserts for the OLD Home A/V dock for the New Zunes or do I have to buy a new dock if I get a flash zune.

Zoa 342

Cool. I wonder if i at all influenced the Leather Zune Case...

yoyodyne

Best Buy, Office Depot, etc have been having clearance sales on Zune items (some folks were getting the Zune Home A/V pack for 21.xx at BB).

Unfortunately for me, all sold out around these parts.

Eddie

Might get a Dock. You guys arent selling the dock separately anymore? That's a shame. I'll look for the old on, if I cant find it, I'll get the new one.

Michael

iHome? Really?

Looks like the Zune 2.0 is getting much better already.

Dave

Doe anyone know if a wireless remote (that doesn't have to dock to work) is avialable or in the works?

I beleive Apple or a third-party has this for the iPod.

Would be convenient when the ZUNE is in the jacket pocket this winter...

Scott K

I have been seeing the new Zune accessories in the stores already.  I have 2 Zune docks now I use at home and work.  I plan on getting a Zune 80- will the old docks work? I sure hope so.  To be honest, if they don't- I'm not sure I will update to a new Zune 80 and will go with another player with more space.

FMradio

Yeah that's cool and all but I'd like to see a discount of 25-50% on those premium earbuds for current Zune owners. Kindda unfair IMO :-( Atleast where getting the fw upgrade.

Paul

I think that was the issue with other players is that they never have accessories and I think thats partly why the iPod is continuing to be succesful.  I am glad to see that MS is helping insure that there is an accessory for the Zune where it is needed.  It will hopefully increase adoption rates and spark more accessories.

Joe Smith

Looking for  agreat FM transmitter for Zune. Any suggestions? The Belkin TuneBase FM that I bought was a piece of crap and I threw it out (Zune shoul dbe ashamed that this thing ever came out - let alone that it is promoted on the site).

AJ

I'm a big zune fan and had a Zune 30 till it was stolen. I'm using an iPod Nano now, and until the zune has a partnership like Apple does with Nike, I can't switch back to Zune. I would love to buy a Zune 8, but I would miss the performance tracking my nano does on my runs. I'm sure there are alot of others like me that use it solely for workouts. Please come up with something, so I can get this apple out of my house and bring the zune back.

Rman

I have a few questions for you.

1.  Will the travel pack be updated with 2nd gen headphones, av charger, sync cabel...?

2.  Will the packaging on the 30 look like the 80, 8, or 4?

3.  Are the 30, 4 and 8 headphones the same as now?

Nate

Are the sync cables the same for the Zune 30 and second gen?

Tyler

Does anyone know if the zune wireless remote will still work with the new docks?
