Lol, if we had as many BBQ's as Firmware updates, there would be WAAAAAAAAAY to many, plus the Zune doesn't have that many "issues".

someone (a mod) on Zunescene confirming the lame mockup pictures from Gizmodo posted a few weeks back as real Zune flash based devices.

The controls are just horrible and not revamped...too big compared to the small screen...please..please...screen should be WIDEscreen...

If those mockup pictures was the New Zune, then i'm not buying the 2nd Generation one.

I just thought of something. Can you update the Visulazations on the Zune Program. That would be nice to have more, or i can just copy em' from WMP

I wouldn't be totally mad if those leaked photos were true. The design isn't great (why does the d-pad have to be so big? It just makes the screen smaller), but I do like that the 80GB version is seeminly identical to Zune 1. If an 80GB comes out this Christmas at $250, it will be mine!

Ricardo, I think those mockups are awful fakes.  The screens are made to look bigger than they are by putting a black border around the actual display.  Something a cheap chinese knockoff would do.  It would be a fatal mistake for Zune not to squeeze the largest screens possible in their device lineup...because thats the trend.

Like most here, I'm looking forward to move beyond BBQs and talking about some real Zune news.

trolling? sorry if it seems like im trolling cesar but you must understand how we feel at least a bit? i got my zune for christmas last year and even convinced about 6 other ppl to buy zunes. and now it just feels like we are forgotten about. now after typing that i remember my comment was only about zune2 content and bbq's. well i hope we get news tahts worth something to early adopters like myself soon im sick of being in the dark without so much as new firmware is coming. i want something other than just a we hear you. hopefully soon.

From my REAL source at Microsoft, he is saying that those are NOT, I repeat, NOT the real new Zunes.

I dont know where this guy is getting his info, but it is either a fraud or the Zune team has planted a fake.

I agree.  But then, what is there about the way MS has seemingly mismanaged Zune 1 that would make anyone think they would do it right for Zune 2?

Like many here, I'm awaiting news of what the Zune 2 and the Zune upgrades will be. Its unfortunate that with such little news coming from the Zune team that a news search on Zune results in more stories about Zune tattoo guy than anything informative.
