Meltdown: The Latest Video Posted in Zune-arts

The latest video on Zune-Arts.net has everything you'd want in an short animation. Dueling cobras? Check. Goldfrapp? Check. Ice cream? Check. Zune? Check. Cobras sharing? Sparkle and glitter? A bunch of ice cream cones falling from the sky? Check, check, check. See for yourself:

And if you're not familiar with Zune-arts, this interview I posted last year might help. Also, you can read previous posts about Zune-arts.

Thanks, IWAPZ for posting the video.

Meltdown: The Latest Video Posted in Zune-arts

Nick

I see... That's cool...Not what I expected.

Fred

Funky. Just don't use this as a commercial. I had absolutely no idea what this was about and after I saw the Zune logo.... I was left scratching my head wondering "how was that related to the zune?"

Jonathan Carl Broderick

what?

Nick Schultz

So I just got my zune a week ago... went to go sync it this morning, I had a couple new CDs to put on my zune.. Everything went fine until it the sync froze after syncing 3 songs... I then unplugged my zune, turned off the zune software, and then plugged my zune back in.. It synced ONE song and then froze.. i repeated this process until i got my whole cd on my zune (bout 30 times!)

I'm not bashing or flaming, I just want this fixed..Anybody have this problem? got a cure? I think I'm going to be wiping my zune and start fresh..

Thanks.

ChrisMN

Is your Zune plugged into a USB in the back of your computer of front?  If front, try the back.

tdm

Alright, so we've got ice cream "socials" popping up all over the place, what looks like music sharing in sync between the "snakes" at these meeting points, and of course the signature brown and red zunes, I mean snakes...

clever video... no real deviation from the currently expressed vision for the device... now on to implementation.

Zoa 342

That was cool. LOTS OF ICE CREAM!!!!

Cesar, will Zune be represented at the DigitalLife event in New York city?

Zoa 342

Is there anyway we can get that song? I love it.

mkoerner

THAT WAS FUNNY!

Woody56292

Zoa: if you go to zune arts you can see what song it is by clicking on the info button next to the snakes.

Cesar: A bit late, I saw this a week ago. =P

-Woody

COOL

that's cool cesar :)

What I still don't understand is why we can't get these Zune Arts clips for.... wait for it... the Zune!!! Why aren't they free downloads in the ZMP? Or available for DL in a Zune-friendly format?

Zoa 342

Thanks Woody. Zune est Good! I cannot wait till II generation

savethesocial.com

Zoa:

From Zune, right-click the top bar, file, open -

(or just click ctl. - letter 'O') and open this file -

http://www.savethesocial.com/playlists/strict%20machine.zpl

If you have a zunepass, you can download the song. If you don't, it's 79 microsoft points.

bob e

nice...

but is that going to sell any Zunes?

robb

i love zune arts there are some great thing to download. cool stuff

Adam K

Nowhereman (and Zoa): You can! Go to Zune-Arts.net and rollover the image of the video you want. Hit the + button (the one on the right--the left one should be an play symbol), and a box will pop up with a list of downloads on the right side. The first download should be for the video. Click it, and save it to wherever you want. It'll be in Zune-friendly wmv format, ready to be synced for playback on the go ;)

And Cesar, I get it too (and kinda like it), but I just don't think it has mass-market potential like the airplane one. It seems like you guys are doing a two-pronged approach with the advertising (similar to the one you're doing with the device itself), with both live-action and animated features. I'd like to see more ads in print sources to combat the iEnemy, in addition to plastering more posters on everything (and come out with more cool ones).

Woody56292

@nowhereman: you can download them from zunearts.net

just click on them then click the download button. they are saved as a zune-friendly wmv file. I have all of them on my zune. =D

look cesar, you have a wepon here, Soapbox, ehmm.. I'm going to tell you in spanish and then try to translate it, Unir Soapbox con el Zune, la gente subira sus videos cortos (de familia y cosas asi) y cuando los quiera ver simplemente los abre desde el Zune y los ve

Make Soapbox compatible with Zune, The people get videos to soapbox (fammily stuff and stuff like that, or even trailers for the 360 or more things) and whatch them a la youtube, all that in your little Zune, would be great for the people with a Small Zune (if the next generation comes ala iPod Nano..)

you have some real great stuff that you can use against the iPod, stop thinking that you are an iPod Killer, Zune isn't an iPod Killer, Zune is just Zune, The Evolution

Leodan

Hey Cesar, I know you can't talk about most things about the Zune2 but I do have a few questions you can hopefully answer. Question 1, are the new Zunes already in production? and question 2, will the new Zunes offer a comparable experience to the new iPods? even the slightest grunt would be welcomed. Thank you for your time.

Eric

hey does anyone know where i can find a sounddock for my Zune? i would love to have one of those instead of a cd player because it took forever to get all my cds on my Zune....so if anyone knows anything, please let me know

thankx,

Eric
