Hey, I was just looking on the Zune website and in the flash demo, there's a Zune in landscape with the Main Menu rotated to match the orientation. I don't have a Zune yet and I'd never seen it before so I was wondering if that's actually possible or just Photoshop'd to make it look better. Or an upcoming feature.

@ Espiox. Interesting I own a Zune and it doesn't have that but that would be sweet. I do know that if you plug in you Zune to your TV, via AV cables, that it does go into landscape mode. Maybe this is an upcoming feature. I guess we will see during the holiday season(Thanksgiving/Christmas).

The menu doesn't do that on mine, or anyone else's Zunes. You have to turn it straight back up, and do the menu in portrait mode.

Although I have been really wanting that feature. For the menu to self-orient when the device is rotated. It would be really handy.

But it's probably just for looks. The Zune people should have placed a real photo.

Espiox, that is definatelly an altered image as the menu isn't correct. The menu is only accessable in portrait view, however; you can access a little sub menu when playing videos (it only affects the video and looks absolutely nothing like that).

Why Microsoft actually altered an image that isn't possible for their website for the Zune.... well I can't possibly imagine why except for trying to deceive customers. That's false advertisements.

I've been dying to ask this question Cesar? But do you know who chooses the Windows Sample Music? Cause I loved Aisha Duo.

Does Bill Gates just like cram whatever's on his quicklist or, does someone else choose it? Its a rather interesting choice of music. I like some of it. Like Aisha Duo.

There's no tracks from them on Marketplace though =/

I'd love to see a horizontal mode implemented. I also find it very strange that Microsoft would show something on the website that isn't possible. I'd love to know what Cesar or the team have to say on the issue.

I'm with you on that Espiox. I'm wondering the same thing. a lot of previews also stated that when you tilted the Zune, the menu would rearrange so that its in landscape mode.

That's bunk.  Wolf Parade is fine, but Sunset Rubdown is Krug's best project by far.  Random Spirit Lover is FANTASTIC.
