Please join me in congratulating Harvey on the upcoming release of his book Zune for Dummies, on July 10! Awesome.

Well. That's um... that's great Adam.

Yeah come on Cesar if MS can afford to give away all those Zunes to the press (and just about every prize for the last year) you can surely give this guy a little more!

He has gotten Zune a good mention on every gadget / weird news site on the planet. It's not like promo items actualy wind up consting MS anything!

Albert

What happened to Target selling the Red Zune as well? It almost seems like it was silently canceled.

Adam K

Yeah, I agree with Ricardo. 5 songs? Make it a subscription, or at least something better than stickers...

(or how bout you let him <a href="http://zuneinsider.com/archive/2007/05/24/factory-girl-s-screen-print-tour.aspx">screen print</a> a logo of an arm onto his Zune?)

P.S. That last comment was sarcastic...

Stephen R Gibson

On Xbox.com there's a page about Zune/Xbox connectivity. Is there a way to get the wallpaper on the Zune on that page? It's really nice.

Caesar, isn't it a bit ironic that the tattoo guy you salute and link to, is getting slammed big time. Have you read the comments??

Obviously there's a big difference to how a "MS Insider" and the rest of the world sees him.

Here's my favorite:

"I think that tat looks freakin cool (coming from a guy w/ mickey mouse on his ass)"

Microsoft released a interactive graphic that describes how Microsoft products are enabling connected experiences for consumers.  Of interest to Zuners is the following quote:

"Zune is an enabler of the following scenarious: Music, Memories, TV & Movies"

Its a relief some sort of confirmation that Microsoft will be adding TV & Movies to Zune.  The only question is when.

Stephen Gibson: Hi, I see you posted the comment twice, and although I don't have the exact wallpaper you are refering to, I do have a similiar one that I like to use.

ofcourse, I have a white zune, so it looks ideal on that, but should look fine on a brown zune as well.

John in S. Florida,

It seems like Microsoft took down the page. You should have taken a screenshot...but thanks for the find though, it's very conforting. But you're right: when?!

Adam K

Albert: they didn't take it down, you just have to use the flash control. When it gives you the choice of rooms in the house, select the bedroom and click the white Zune (it's below the TV). Up pops a message with the offending text.

Of note, however, is that it doesn't claim to be offering a movie service (supporting piracy??), let alone a "memories" service. We'll see how it goes.

Adam K

Oh, you can also click the VAF Octavio (center of the room) in the master bedroom for the same copy.

The "When" appears to be actually, "so far off in the future that you will forget we lulled you to sleep after being an early adopter".

I feel my three year old could have put a media partnership in place and released video content faster than this "team".

I have said before that I love the possibilities, I'm just not feeling "the love" or "the effort".
