Surface is awesome, and the video(s) even show dropping your zune on the Surface and easily trading photos and songs. very cool!

That seems to be how it's doing it in the video.

Those points in the video should be taken as a potential, future-looking scenario. So I don't have anything specific to announce/confirm/deny at this time.

Having said that, the Surface team is working with the Zune team on potential points of integration.

What was the design on the back of the Zune used in the on10.com video?  Or was it just a symbol that the Surface Computer recognized and associated with that specific Zune?

Now I'm not asking for any kind of response or anything but if that rumorish thing about a big zune announcement on June 1st is true I think it would be a good way to get back at whoever leaked it to announce it on May 31st(tomorrow). This would prove the rumor false while simultaneously showing us fans that you're standing by it anyway. I swear I have no alterior motives behind wanting this announcement early ;)

Sorry If I'm off topic here but since it's a post about the Marketplace I'll just ask my question if that's alright. What's up with new music releases on the Marketplace, it seems like I can never buy current tracks in the new releases section ever, what's the deal with that? anyone know or is it just my marketplace software?

Not sure what exactly your situation is, ZuneChick. Try a couple things. First, make sure you restart the software on a weekly basis (around Tuesday, which is when new releases are announced on the main page). This ensures you are getting the most recent catalog each time. I've found that I am unable to download tracks w/ my subscription, but after restarting ZMP I can.
