New Music Friday: Twenty-Fourth Edition

For 24 weeks now, I've been providing links for Zuneinsider readers to download new, free music. I'm sorry to say, dear blog reader, but I'm actually running out of ways to introduce the tracks. Hence, today, I'll just say: have a butcher's:

If you have an idea on how to introduce next week's NMF, the twenty-fifth edition, drop a comment. Oh and no posts until next Tuesday, on account of the Holiday. Have a good weekend everybody!

At first I thought u were gonna say...no more new music Friday? I would have gone and bought me an iPod...(kidding:)

have a good weekend Ceez, & Zune team!

You know.... I hear online video is a big deal these days. Some sort of video introduction would be pretty sweet. Maybe hold a contest for the coolest video intro for ZuneInsider New Music Friday (C)? Oh, and even cooler would be for the intro to be downloadable in Zune format.

@brutha-man: That's exactly what I thought he was going to say, too...

:)

Anyhow, thanks for the music. Enjoy your long weekend!

Cesar:

I am curious, do you browse on internet explorer or Firefox?

Bernardo

Hey Cesar, what can you tell us about that alleged "iPod Amnesty bin" at Zune HQ?

link: http://www.engadget.com/2007/05/25/microsofts-ipod-amnesty-bin-keeps-zune-coders-on-the-up-and-up/

"iPod Amnesty bin"

Joke or no joke, it's sad that you have to ask for employees to give-up their iPods. If the Zune was suprior, employees would be shootoing their iPods at the 'Zune iPod shooting range'.

Adam K

heh, you're the man. thanks

may I also suggest MashupTown.com?

Cesar, congrats man...Robbie Bach said in a recent interview that Zune sold 1 million units!  Next fiscal year I'd like to see you increase HD unit marketshare to 15-20% and 5-10% for new Flash units (in U.S.).

Woo hoo!!

Congrats zune team, I will be one of those zune owners when mine arrives in a few days.

Hey, 1st comment here :) Great work on the Zune, I love mine. Wondering if the reported 1,000,000 sales are true? If so, congratulations. Plus wondering if this is true http://www.zuneboards.com/content/view/78/1/

Sounds pretty awesome. I like the philosophy of offering something similar to competitors but doing something unique and different too. Despite the restrictions on your vision like the 3x3 rule the direction of mp3 players you're taking is the future. Once companies see that uninhibited sharing is a good thing for business (via mp3 blogs or the Zune) then MS' vision will be confirmed!

1+ MILLIONS ZUNE BEFORE JUNE....wooohooo...!!!!

CONGRATS ZUNE TEAM...AND FOR THE PARTY NEW FEATURES..THANKS...

I'd love to suggest some music. Difficult to do themes because you can only work with what's out there. Some of my recent favourites:

One more thing..Robbie Bach mentioned the "watermelon" Zune was released.  So hopefully your PR folks get in line and make the announcement this Tuesday.

*Sigh, another message from that nutter, I hear you think!

But would be cool if you *sometimes* blogged about free legal music videos out there, though they're few and far between. And hell, I'm sure you have a lot of other things to do on your plate. Still, it's worth checking out http://www.colonelblimp.com and http://www.oilfactory.com as both are music video director sites and have some of the biggest music videos around to view (and download if you own Quicktime Pro...)

http://cliptip.blogspot.com/2006/09/helicopter-girl-angel-city.html is also one of my favourites ;)
