New Music Friday: Twenty-First (she said yes!) Edition

For twenty-one weeks now, I've linked to new, free, and good music for you to put on your Zune - just click through to the blog or website and get the music. And for the first time ever, I'm making this NMF about. . . you guessed it: love songs. Or songs about love-related things. Ready?

Ok, enjoy the free music and have a great weekend everybody!

Kevin

Hey, congrats again man!  Thanks for the songs!  How do you find these song downloads every week?  It is so amazing that every week you post up links to wonderful free songs.  I really appreciate all the work you put in for your readers.  This is seriously the best blog on the internet.  Keep up the great blog posts and the links to the songs.  Thanks again... and congrats again!

Via Zune-online.com.

Are we ready for Rockboxing and Free WiFi ?

Ricardo: Not quite yet.... Read the forum, it's not pretty, or especially novel.

Almost there, though.

Lannacore

Congrats Cesar!!! That is huge news!

So did you set a date yet?? That's the first question everyone seems to be asking me...

ray

Cesar has said that there will be no zune announcement today on a zunescene forum so I wonder where iLounge got their rumor from?

http://www.zunescene.com/forums/index.php?topic=14748.0

damien

I agree, Ray. That rumor just popped up out of nowhere. Even Engadget and Gizmodo jumped on board. Weird.

Thanks for keeping everyone in the loop.

I am excited to see the new ad campaign.   :)

Ricardo Dawkins

LOL, ilounge rumor post is a mock on the Zune turf...I wonder if the Zune team will respond with some updates ALREADY.

They (ipod fanbase) is already making fun of the Zune on their websites.

this is ridiculous. Will MS and the Zune team ever respond to this tirade ?

The Zune software and the Xbox Dashboard updates come out at the same time usually as they are linked somehow.  The Dashboard update is slated to be released this week so it would make sense that a Zune update would happen at the same time.

ray

@damien

Ye, I really want to see those new ads too because there is such potential there to make the zune look awesome. BTW I saw on some other forum people had already seen some new zune ads last night and they said they were the best so far.

Stephen R Gibson

"The Zune software and the Xbox Dashboard updates come out at the same time usually as they are linked somehow."

What? There are two Xbox Dash updates per year: Fall (November-time) and Spring (May/June). There have been 3 Zune updates. They aren't 'linked' except that the Fall update let you plug it in like any other audio device. And tomorrow's update has no Zune functionality.

ray

Wait a minute everyone!!!

ilounge have updated their story and say that todays event did actually happen but the flash zune was only revealed to 3rd party developers (accessory makers) and the official public release wont be for a while. I hope somebody took some sneaky pics!

@ray

Check out the Hail Social track(s).  I have a friend who is touring with Hail playing keyboards/guitar.  Great stuff.
