BTW, Yes, I've seen the engadget post about the potential Zune phone patent application from June of last year. Before you ask: I (we) won't comment on patent stuff.

pinksage

you cant comment?!?!? no waiii!

Nelson

Sorry if I'm going offtopic but that patent looks a lot like the ZenZui which I saw not too long ago.

To add a sparkle of ontopic-ness: Nice! Thanks for freebies.

ENUZ

Is that a clock on the potential Zune phone, which was filed June 06, months before the Zune was released? Yet no clock on the Zune?

Pete

I dont think the patent designs look like the typical Zune interface anyway. I think it more like a windows mobile/samartphone type thing. The fonts, menu positioning and screen size ratio are all different as well.

it would be nice if i could actually log in to the zune marketplace. i've tried everything. checked my passwords, re-installed the software, disabled the firewall, etc.

it just sits there and does nothing when i try to log in :(

brutha-man

Great Angelique Kidjo song.

I was having the same problem as theorie for a while...but it(marketplace) eventually logged in after like 5 tries....

News: Samsung & Zune (TomT)

The Associated Press

Thursday, April 19, 2007; 1:20 PM

"SEOUL, South Korea -- Samsung Electronics Co. and Microsoft Corp. said Thursday they have entered into a patent licensing agreement focused on the technology companies' consumer electronics lines.

Samsung and Microsoft said the deal gives them access to the other's patents for existing and future inventions in categories including computers, televisions, digital video recorders and digital media players."

Smart pick if they make Samsung produce the "Microsoft/Zune Phone". Samsung is becoming like the new ( old ) Sony, and has alot of great products, especially their phone line. Ofcourse, I am a little biased ( I have a Samsung Sync )

Zune phone is confirmed?? Or it is just the name what we think.

BTW. I would like to convert DVD to Zune, anyone know the freeware? I download the conversion software from http://www.zunevideoconverter.com

It is shareware.
