Zune Freebie this week: MIMS

Check out Zune Marketplace this week (if you haven't already) for a free download of the new MIMS single "Just Like That," from the album Music is My Savior. Very cool.

It’s been a crazy busy week, so I didn’t get to post as much as I’d like. And next week I’m taking a vacation, visiting friends in California. So, no posts until Monday, April 16. Sorry to say, friends, that this also includes MP3 Friday L

I have a few more posts coming today: one about Pink, and, of course, today's MP3 Friday

I downloaded it last night and this morning I tried to play it on my ZUNE, it said it was expired.  Nice...

Chris

So you are, or you are not posting an MP3 Friday today???

Albert

Nice to have you come and visit the Sunshine State. Hope you fall in love with our contrasting weather.

Hey Cesar, can you find out any sort of timeframe as to when INXS's album "Switch" will be available for download on the Zune Marketplace? It's listed on there but as "Not Available".

I don't mind buying it, but I'd rather not pay $10 to find it on ZMP for free shortly after.

No MP3 Friday next week...    :(

Ah, well.... I suppose YOU need time off, too, right? *How about letting us post links to music we find around the web until you return? Just a thought.*

Enjoy your vacation!

P.S. MIMS debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200. Pretty good for a new artist, eh?

what about commenting about the "watermelon red" zune?

Milo - Not much to share about Red - we're exploring launching a red device sometime this summer.

@Slayed: I had the same problem a while back, every song I downloaded after a certain period gave me a message saying that it was expired, it only happened with a few songs though, and it was limited to the device; it played on my computer fine.

I ended up having to clear out my device and re-sync everything. That might be a bit of a chore for you depending on how many songs you've got (i've got around 1,400 and it took me almost an hour), but I did it and things have been working fine for me ever since.

Slayed

Regarding my "expired" problem.  This fix took care of it, so didn't have to clear and re-sync.   Thanks.

I still can believe people think he is good. I'm sorry. Every time I here "This is why I'm Hot" or whatever it is and listen to the lyrics, my brain implodes.

What kind of logic is, "This is why I'm hot, I'm hot cause you're not"? It's just doesn't make sense.

Let's replace hot with something else. "This is why I'm red, I'm red cause you're not". That doesn't make me red, I could just as easily be blue, or green.

...ok, *steps off soapbox*

It is cool that MS is giving away some mainstream music. iTunes freebies are usually something I've never heard of.
