Stores , especially online retailers, are known for giving discounts on items and the Zune isn't any different.  Hell...I've even seen the Zune at K-Mart with a $50.00 mail in rebate.  Just means more people will "join the social".  

OH...what's up with the Zune Marketplace maintenance on the 27th?  Day after for the firmware?  hmmm.

You sure?  They have had LIVE down before for a day and I'm pretty sure that Zune Marketplace didn't go down.  Maybe I'm just hopeful that they'll add some new stuff to the Marketplace and finally get the firmware out.  *keeps fingers crossed.
