My favorite day of the week.  This blog post is always icing on the cake.  Thx Cesar!

To Everyone that has a myspace acount, please add http://www.myspace.com/microzune to your friends list.

Pass this message on to help zune gain some grounds on myspace.

Feb. 9 (Bloomberg) -- Microsoft Corp., Google Inc. and four other technology companies plan to submit a prototype of a new handheld device to U.S. regulators for testing, as they press the government to free up airwaves for wireless Internet access.

Microsoft is developing the prototype, which the coalition will submit to the Federal Communications Commission's Office of Engineering and Technology, according to a Feb. 5 letter the companies filed with the FCC. The device would ``provide consumer broadband access and networking,'' the filing said.

******

The prototype device described in the filing isn't related to a possible Zune phone, Hollreiser said in an interview.

Microsoft Chief Executive Officer Steve Ballmer said in November that Microsoft plans to sell a device in the future that combines its Zune music and video player with phone features.

So, is it some kind of non-phone Zune device?

Frog Eyes, PB&J... nice.  Thanks!

And not to derail too much, but the "high-five" has to stop.  A few years ago, it was kitchy, cute.  After the Borat movie, a small ironic resurgence was expected.  But not now.  And not in every post.  Please.

Back on-topic: Can we get more KEXP playlists up on the marketplace?  The playlists right now are really dull (well, my Mom loves them) but it'd be great to get some John in the Morning playlists every now and then.

This site is really cool. I didn't know about it before. Too bad I can't buy a Zune 'cause I'm in Canada:(

Second'd on the "high-five has to stop" comment.  We know this is a marketing blog, but please don't make it ridiculously so by trying to use a "cool" catch-phrase.

You actually used it twice in just this post.

STOP THE HIGH FIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ALSO WHERE IS THE VIDEO SECTION IN THE MARKETPLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cesar, what are you guys doing to entice people to purchase Zune for Valentine's Day?  Discount?  New Features? or AsIs this week?

Thanks Cesar, yes not only that but I'll be busted if I don't get my wife a gift today...a purdy white Zune.

Hope Zune team is on the look out for other competitors besides Apple.  Engadget is rumoring about some Zune killer.

And by the way, anybody have more info on what PlayReady is about?

clif- high five!

actually it's funny you mention KEXP playlists. The guy who manages the zmp editorial team actually is also a KEXP DJ - kid hops.

Completely OT, is there any way to save the "Quick List" play list? If not, could you please add this to your list of enhancements?
