I probably should have linked this in the Introduce Yourself post, but this maybe is cool enough to have its own post. There's a thread over at The Scene which links to a global map of Zune users. Check it out, and add yourself!

The map lists Zune folks by location, and by color choice. I added myself, look for the for the green icon () in Seattle, WA, with the shoutout - "Welcome to my very special shoutout. You are special, too."

so sweet ce-sar! *high five*

I wonder what a map of iPod users would look like...hmmm....

Thats cool.

Cesar, what happen to the previous blog entry on the zune send feature?

nevermind..previous blog just reappeared.

Wow, is it me, or does there seem to be a lot of black Zunes out there? I myself have a black Zune, and I guess the reason for most people like me is probaly because the black Zune looks kinda more better than the other 2. But that's my opinion. It's just that the white seems kind of pasty, and the brown is just ugh looking. But the black looks sleek.

Ohio doesn't look fairly represented on the map... looks like I'll just have to get a Zune....soon...

I chose a black Zune becasue it was the most neutral of the colors. I liked the brown one but was afarid I would get bored with the color after a while. The white one reminded me too much of the iPod...so i got a black one.

How come did all of those people in Italy and UK get a Zune?

I'll be definitely putting my location up there, probably for Richmond VA where I'm starting a co-op in a month. I go to school in Terre Haute IN :(

IN OTHER NEWS: NEW UBER MEGA INDIE LABEL

Cesar, please please please tell me MS is already working to get this label onto Zune Marketplace. To do it before Apple would be duly appreciated. :)

That is truly a microsoft way of thinking in making the guide to the map be: blue dot means black Zune; red means brown; yellow means white.

Is this how the Zune Marketplace points scheme came to be?

I've been removed.lol

Is there a way to map on the go with your zune? I haven't gotten one yet, and I am going to, but I want to know if it is possible to zoom in on an image and move it around, as if you were dragging around on google maps. Obviously, the image would be static, but I'm wondering how flexible the image viewer is.

1.How far can it zoom?

2.Can you move the image around?
