ChikaZune: Inspiring The Zune High-Five Picture Contest

Here's an interesting twist on Zune to Zune wireless sharing: ChikaZune (via Crunchgear). ChikaZune offers a series of images that can be beamed to other Zune users, via wireless. The images serve as a primitive chat. Cool. I'd love to have a picture of a high-five (high-five!) so I can beam it.

In fact, this has inspired me to make another contest. The Zune High-Five Picture Contest.

Make a picture that showcases a high-five. I'm deliberately providing no further guidance. Be creative.
Post the picture on the web (maybe on your Live Space? Your Flickr Page? Your blogsite? Your page on the Myspaces?)
Drop a comment on this post with the URL.
I'll pick the winners and then reach out via email. Be sure to include your email in your post so I can let you know if you won.

# January 15, 2007 Shawn Oster Thanks for that link to the pre-loaded content! I've been living in Guest mode on my own PC ever since I wiped it and installed Vista. I know it's just a few videos and tracks but oddly enough it really, really bothered me that I couldn't get it back if I was to sync.

# January 20, 2007 Dan Adams Great pics. Adam's are good except for the marijuana ones. I don't support drug use, and it looks like he just googled images, put a filter on them and then put the words high five. The one with a five year old smoking a joint, is pretty bad (dontcha think?)On the other hand though I really like the one with the blue hand coming out of the zune. Very abstract, and original.


# January 20, 2007 adam hoek i dont aprove of smoking anything whatsoever at all either. believe it or not, they were my moms ideas! I dont know the jury that well so i figure i will just try to cover all catagories. i agree some of mine are weak but some of them took a long time, like the hi five in your future, skywriters, place palm here and the first 2. i have to agree thoguh the one with the hand comming out of the zune is strong. i wish i came up with it first. I also like the one with the little kid. however it says that it is under a creative commons licence, but it has the zune logo in the corner. so can it be creative commons? im not so sure on all of that. but that one is my favorite

# January 20, 2007 Robert AdamH: Ya, I'd drop that one of the kid smoking pot at least--it drags down all of your other images. Like the zune logo being skywrited by the planes. Trim down your entries to the best, and dump the drug references. I said the image of the kid doing the high five is CC because I took the original photograph from something that had an attribution / modify license that required derivitive works also be licensed the same way. The logo remains the trademark of its respective company (MS). I'm not a lawyer, but I wanted to retain the spirit of CC.

I also wasn't sure about the drug reference ones but my mum wouldn't drop it so i put it in. i understand what you mean with the CC now. i broke out my camera and am working on some more. I will have to narrow them down for sure! LOL -adamhoek p.s good luck with the comp, i really do like the one with the little kid. i like it best without the filters on it. just straight up photo. its more crisp and clean that way. more zuney lol.
