Hate to throw a complaint up here, but I have a biggie. I just got my Zune today-- and NO 14-Day free trial to ZunePass. Thinking it was just a shipping error or something, I called Zune tech support. Turns it, that was a limited time offer.

Except... the Zune web site says it clearly:

Free Trial

Got a Zune? Then you've also got a 14-day, free trial Zune Pass subscription.

But I don't. Taking away the fact that its really dumb NOT to offer a trial for a subscription service (I mean, all the others do)-- the web site is blatant false advertising.

I was very enthusiastic about The Zune and excited that it finally arrived. Now I'm trying to figure out if I have legal recourse (seems like I do) since the tech support people wouldn't help me out-- the first even lied to me and said MS didn't advertise the trial, which I called him out on by looking up the site myself.

This is crazy!! Anything you can do to help?

Wotchya!  I just installed Zune software on my Vista PC and it won't let me get a ZuneTag, curses!  I knew I wouldn't be able to use MarketPlace but was hoping my GamerTag would be reserved for the Zune-ee-ness!

I fly out to US in less than 10 days now, which means my Zune is imminent!  Circuitcity appear to be offering a free $20 e-voucher with each Zune, anyone know any better deals lying around anywhere?

Way off topic...the skipping problems.  Anyone know about a resolution or is it supposed to fix itself...j/k.  No really, with CES approaching, any info on what it'll take to get my player to play 3 songs straight without going crazy (is that a word)???

I dont want to hear about nay new, fancy-shmancy features until my zune stops skipping every 3 or 4 songs.

Hey, yeah I am in the UK.  It's OK, I knew Marketplace would be closed to me I was just hoping that I could set up my ZuneTag, I'm guessing it will be tied to XBox Live anyway so it will become available on the EU release?

Anyway, been playing with the software and found a cool plugin for IE that dowloads your youtube/google video playlists straight to the video library (fully converted).  Only another week! muahaha!
