Hey, Chicago: Tomorrow, 4 PM, Bourgeois Pig

Oh man, vacation is nice. So some of you expressed interest in meeting up here in Chicago. Let's do it; let's meet up at the Bourgeois Pig, in Lincoln Park tomorrow (Thursday, 28th December) at 4 PM. I have a few t-shirts for folks to give away.

Be there, or be . . . a . . . person. . . who doesn't get a . . . high five!

If I didn't have to work I'd make the drive up from St. Louis and spend some time in the Windy city.

just to ask since i cant find a contact link... will the zune be able to support sync with computer via wifi, connect to marketplace via wifi and all the other cool features i could only think of in the future? or is it just stuck to zune to zune as i read somewhere online

admin

Ola - hey, thanks for leaving a comment in this site! I of course can't comment on unannounced features, but those things are all interesting and certainly possible. Sorry I can't give you a yes/no answer, man. - Cesar

No comment on future features. This is a general policy, for obvious reasons. As always, evaluate on the features available now or you'll set yourself up for disappointment.

Sweet deal, great pic for a meetup spot, especially for someone that dosn't live here.

I'll def. be there.

Also, over at Zunecorps we found a lot of little fixes and features that came out with the latest update

http://zunecorps.com/?p=326

any way you could release a list of all the different fixes/upgrades from the update?

Thanx,

-Charlie

Awww too bad. I have "in-laws" in the Chicago area - put off visiting them since it's the first Christmas in my new home. Oh well, hope you have a great time and send me a T-Shirt because you <3 my smart ass and stuff HAHA

j/k Have a great new year!

Stefan

There should be a west coast meet up (Seattle maybe).

Eric

Hey Cesar, nice meeting you this afternoon. And thanks for the t-shirt!

dj imer

ya i'd be into a seattle meetup. surely plenty of people'd show up for that.

koy

when will the zune software support podcasts natively like itunes?

Matt

Hey Cesar, hope you had a good holiday (vacation, whatever! lol).  I been checkin out Youtube for the Zune ads, I am really liking stuff like the moster one and the neverending cookie and the other quirky cartoons but can you please get them to stop with the 'cool kids' ads?  The Beautiful People are going to buy iPods because they don't know any better, and Apple's entire marketing campaign is focused on form over function.  You haven't followed them with the player so quit following them with the ad campaign!  More cookies! ;)

Chris Hammond

If we're pathetic, what's that make you for coming here and joining the fun Alex???

How was the meetup? Anyone take any photos?

TomT

Cesar, are there going to be any Zune-related announcements at the January CES show? (You should be able to tell us that.) Any additional hints would also be appreciated. :-)

Charlie

No...unfortunately I forgot my camera on the way out the door...

-Charlie

Josh

can you come again in a few weeks?  i'm home from college now, but will be in chicago for the spring semester.

admin

what's up everybody! TomT, I'll check what PR has in store for CES. I don't think it will be a major product/feature announcement, probably just a momentum recap, that kinda thing.

Cristina

Can't you expense a trip to NYC?  :op

admin

cristina, I'm sure I'll be in NYC soon enough :) I was just there for CMJ actually.
