Hey, you've probably seen the Wal-Mart story about them re-selling a used Zune, without deleting the naughty videos someone had loaded on it.

Help me get the word to Wal-Mart - and others - on how to delete all content from your Zune player - with or without a PC!

Leave it up to Walmart to destroy some of the (deserved) hype of the Zune.

I live in Chicago, not too far from Logan Square, but will be out of town that week visting family.  Guess I'll have to find another social =) Enjoy the holidays!!

i just arrived to Chicago coming from Reno, Nevada (finished my finals). i will try to make it there. but you didn't say what time will you be there. so let me know so i have an idea of what time would be best.

I'll actually be visiting Chicago from later today (12/21) to 12/28.  So if this actually happens on the 27th..I'd totally be up for it.  Keep us updated.

With all the updates to the dvice and software recently are their any plans on adding lossless audio file support for the device?

does this work like ipods sync. how it only puts the stuff from your library on the ipod, and you coudlnt go anywhere other than your house to put stuff on it. cuz that woudl be crappy if it did work like that.

im getting a zune for christman and my ipod nano serves me good, but i dont think that my computer could go through holding a 30gb library on it just for my zune. any suggestions/comments/etc.??

I don't know why you liked leo's video.  He spycificly told poeple not to buy the zune.  Hes right about everything.  You're the first to put 802.11 G in an mp3 player and you use it for one thing and completly cripple it.

Kyleq i dont think microsoft is the first to put wireless in an mp3 player, have you ever heard of Archos? their one even comes with an opera web browser, pity they are kinda expensive

Maybe we can do something like that during the MVP summit in march.  I am getting my Zune this week.

I watched that Leo Laporte guy, surprised he didn't have a Steve Jobs tattoo on his face.  Does he work for Fox News?  he appears to be using their definiton of Fair and Balanced!

The only thing that he said that I do agree with is the Universal thing, rolling over like that was totally weak.  Oh, and 'squirting'.  Someone really needs to stop Steve balmer from speaking, I mean it's funny for a while but ultimately he's the relative at Christmas that everyone pretends isn't dancing naked on the table, because 'he's not all there, and doesn't know any better bless his heart'.

Arrive in Pittsburgh on the 13th, plan on having my Zune on the 14th, lol!  SO be prepared for one of 2 things to happen:  1) Matt waxes lyrical about how marvellous Vista Ultimate MC is and how my Cable TV, 360, PC, Zune and TV all work in beatiful harmony or

2)How my Zune is currently sticking out of the shattered remnants of my TV while the 360 is being used in a unique shot-put competition.

Surprisingly, going off current experience, number 1) is the most likely, but I am going to give Vista the benefit of the doubt and assume it will implode when I least expect it ;)

Damn! I'm in Chicago and I just read your post today. I've had my Zune for less then a week and it appears that I'm in a Zune-desert when it comes to finding other Zune users live and in person. I hope you come back to Chicago soon.
