"Music, Culture, and  . . . ?"

I know, I know, I gotta step up the "Music, Culture" part of this site. So here goes: my buddy Anna (hi-five!) over at DecentXposure clued me into a cool band out of Copenhagen - Mew. I like 'em a lot. And they've toured with Kasabian and Bloc Party, both perennial favorites.

Check the the video "Special," which actually won a CADS06 award for Best Cinematography:

Mew has also been blogging since 2002. Cool. And if anyone is still wondering, I still rock my 360. Gamertag: Cesarisok.

I have been listening to their album "and the Glass Handed Kites" for a few months now! LOVE IT! It's quite a cool album and one of the few albums I find I want to listen to all the way through each time.

Cesar, it's albums like these that cry out for gapless playback as most of the songs blend seamlessly into the next and that little gap between songs really ruins the sound of the album!

But a great pick.

Cheers - Dan

Thank you Dan "gapless playback is a must" H ;)

you call yourself a gamer and you don't have Gears of War!?! lol j/k Cesar, atleast your gamerscore is higher than mine...

Sorry to say but these posts are getting boring.. I knew about mew years ago. This really has nothing to do about the Zune anyways. lol

I've heard great word-of-mouth about Mew.

Have you ever heard of Carpark North?

It's still one of my favorite videos of al time.

in reference to bradwjensen- fine for you.. but not many people know Mew... so consider yourself one of the luckier ones from early on :)
