Nice line up!

T.I.?! Wow, I'd love to be there... too bad it's so far away.

I'm wondering how do I get tickets to see lupe on monday. it says tickets is free to the public, does that mean I just show up and I get to come in or what?

maybe you need Slick Jones somewhere in Europe?

I just might hafta take my lunch break at West Lake on Monday...

What do you think about this, Cesar?

The Zune Marketplace is now available for download at http://zuneboards.com/Zune-Marketplace-Available-for-Download-t-474.html

• 79 Microsoft Points equals 99-cents or one song.

• The smallest amount of Microsoft Points available for purchase is $5.00 or 400 points.

• Each Microsoft Point is worth 1.25-cents.

• So, you give Microsoft your $5 and buy your 5 songs. That's 395 total points. Microsoft has your 5 points or 6.25-cents "left over."

• Say you want an album's worth, or 10 songs? You give Microsoft $10 for 800 points and buy 10 songs for 790 points. Microsoft has your 10 points or 12.5-cents "left over."

• See where we're headed? Microsoft is taking money from their pigeons, er... "customers" and placing it in an interest-bearing account to earn themselves more money on their generous customers' interest-free "loans."

• Now, if you don't wish to give Microsoft your money to use for free to generate interest income for Microsoft, you need to figure out exactly how many 79-point songs to buy, so that no points are left over. The smallest number that might work is 15,800 points for 200 songs at 79 points each. Let's see, you'd need to buy:

- three (3) $50 sets of points for 12,000

- one (1) $25 set of points for 2,000

- one (1) $15 set of points for 1,200

- one (1) $5 set of point for 400

- Total = $195 for 15,600 points. Wait, that doesn't work, we still have 200 points left over. Let's buy 2 more songs for 158 points. Uh oh, 42 points or 52.5-cents "left over."

• This is harder than we thought.

• Calling all mathematicians! Can you buy Microsoft Points (available in denominations of $5 for 400 points, $15 for 1,200, $25 for 2,000 and $50 for 4,000) in such a way as to buy your songs without leaving any free "left overs" for Microsoft to use to generate interest income? If so, what's the formula?

Hey everyone,

We managed to get our hands on the Zune software early, take a look at our review of the Zune Marketplace (with tons of pics), and make sure to digg the story!

Hey Cesar is the downloadable zune marketplace software kosher to download?

sean. . . for now I'm gonna look the other way.

- cesar (I don't know how to change my name from admin yet ;)

It's amazing how many errors people are getting while installing the software, including myself.  No text input for your zunetag, searching for updates forever, and stuck at the installation screen.  And of course, all the zune bloggers are on a mini-strike again...lol.  I guess we'll find out whats up some time on Monday.

i installed mine, it works perfectly but took quite a while to install...anyway i didnt think it would let me install cause i live in  europe but it does and so too does the marketplace which is excellent and is already open to sell songs. overall the software is brilliant and very easy to use, way better than itunes. i imported my library onto it and it performs better than wmp11. well done to the zune team, excellent software. btw cesar is there any news on a uk and ireland date launch date yet? even a rough idea? if it is going to be months i think i will but off ebay, i checked it today and already people are selling them for 210euro which is cheaper than creative zen vision m and 30gb ipod.

EVERYONE!  THE ZUNE SOFTWARE IS AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD THROUGH ZUNE.NET!!!
