You didn't mention they're at the Showbox in Seattle tonight!! Have a great weekend. - Harvey http://www.zunerama.com
CSS's music is interesting and different... I'll download their album off of music now and see if they belong on the ole player.
Not a chance, Zune bus is the biggest and the most expensive Zune accessory till now. These photos are fake. Check it in a few days on Zune-Online.com !
Once again I found something on Gizmodo, this time an ad for the Zune. When I clicked I was redirected to our old familiar site https://www.comingzune.com/ only now it has more stuff, haven't checked it out yet, but it is different for sure.
blah and it doesn't work in firefox 2.0 ( or else it just won't let me ) make sure to render in IE. also, it is just a bunch of lame pictures ( no offence to whoever made them ) but at least it has more funny stuff to watch. ( stay on the screen and things will start moving )
Nice Zune bus!! Good way to get the name out there. By the way, it'd be pretty cool to see some Zune gamerpics on the XBox Live Marketplace (although I already have one thanks to the XBox Live Vision camera)
Alright Cesar...I think I found you. Although posting that tiny pic didn't help. I had to go to the flickr feed. Anyways...is that you in the middle with the grey shirt pointing, two feet over from Lovefoxx? -Charlie
Hey Cesar, quick question... What is displayed on the Zune when your listening to a song that is missing the Album art? -Charlie
ooh Good question Charlie. Hopefully a zune logo or just your background picture and not just some red x or pitiful cd without a cover look that WMP has when I don't have album art.
That's what I'm afraid of...hopefully the can figure out some cool visualization for when the backlight is on or somthing along those lines. Anyways...totally unrelated, I just put up a Wishlist of features I would hope find their way into the Zune. Tell me what you guys think. http://zunelicious.blogspot.com/2006/10/zune-wish-list-hey-everyone.html Thanks everyone, -Charlie
man I just realized that Bus must be really high-tech and nice.(made by MS, so obviously)
Looks great! I wish I rode on one of those things. ;) By the way, great question Charlie. I'm guessing a normal Zune sign or your background? I doubt it's one of those default CD pictures like on WMP. - ioDi http://www.wiredzune.com
Hey, whens the Zune coming to Australia? Please don't tell me you're going to do another ultra delayed release in which we do not receive Zune till March 2007. I'd be peeved.
DO you know whens the Zune coming to Czech Republic or Slovakia? www.zune.sk
Irrelevant but ... I read something about the Zune not having video playback capabilities out of the box ... is this true? And what about us Canadians?
Today, a USA Today online article quotes "Scott Erickson, a Microsoft Zune product manager" as saying "Wi-Fi hot-spot access is in the cards for the Zune, but later." http://www.usatoday.com/tech/products/2006-10-15-music-war_x.htm Any hints about what quarter of what year this is going to happen? As for the balance of the article, I have to agree that the whole closed-system thing is a mess for consumers.
I think the bus looks rather swish, but as does anything black and shiny. Keep up the work Ceasar... And you never replied to my email :( Rob Zuney.Net
Hey, charlie, good list of buzzwords on your blog. How about a more practical list, though. Here is mine in order of importance to me. Gapless playback for all the live albums I have (I'm sure you all have a few too) AMG album notes saved and stored on the player with the album art. Recording capabilities for both voice and from the radio. (F the RIAA if they don't like it. Let them cry a river) Line in recording. I would prefer to go straight from the CD player to the Zune and keep my PC HD fresh and clean :) Dynamic lyrics/captions/subtitles (like Media player has) Hey, do any of you know if the Zune Marketplace is going to wait until the 14th before going live? I would really like explore it a little bit before buying. My litness test: Search for a band named Red Elvises. If found, then they probably have a decent library. HA-HA!
good suggestions Rhett. Might I add... song lyrics. ( because everybody secretly wants to karaoke to their favorite songs ). =P
Yeah, Lyrics and subtitle display would be great. Any word on any of those features?
My litness test...? lol
-- My litness test...? lol -- LitMus test. Happy now? Yeesh, typo cops :P If you look, lyrics were the last item on my list. Media player has the dynamic lyrics that pop up in time with the song (If you take the time to manually enter them). The AMG notes would be huge, though. That is one of the few things that make these services worth while. I have had a big beef with URGE for a while now (they can't figure it out and have resorted to just not responding to my emails) about the AMG notes not showing up after I have purchased a CD and ripped it to my library. They show for subscription stuff but not stuff I own and I HATE that. I get a nice AMG info page in my now playing tab for the subscriptions then I go buy the CD from my club, rip it, and the AMG info stops showing up.
Hey Cesar, I had the day off today and for some reason I decided to try and find some Zune info. After spending the better part of the whole day digging into more than 75 different Blogs, retailers, review sites and propaganda places I still have not found a single place that actually has any solid specs on this device. Every site just re-hashes the 'Zune has WiFi' info. Ok we get it and were already over it before it even hit the shelf. Now we want to know about the music player. Do you think you can comment on some things that are related to listening to music? It is, after all, a music player. There are a ton of posts in your blog going back many many weeks now that are unanswered. Do you think you can shed some light on some of the questions I asked in this blog entry about gapless playback, the SNR ratio, Custom and/or Pre-set EQ settings ect? Or are you only allowed to say 'WiFi' over and over until November 14th? -snicker- Throw us some bones, eh.
Rhett, let me get back to you on answer (I don't actually know for a lot of them). I can tell you that we won't release a verson of Zune Marketplace until November 14. And I tested out gapless playback on my PC, and it worked just fine. the other stuff, stay tuned.
---- I tested out gapless playback on my PC, and it worked just fine ---- Sweet! I assume this will be the same when playing live albums on the Zune device itself, right? Gaps on a live performance are a major BuzzKill. ---- I can tell you that we won't release a verson of Zune Marketplace until November 14. ---- Bummer. Do you know if the service will be available ONLY to Zune owners or will anyone with a PC and 15 bucks a month be able to explore it? ---- the other stuff, stay tuned ---- I think you got the whole world staying tuned Ha-Ha! Gapless was the big one for me, though. I think that alone sold me. Thanks for the info.
Interesting Zune article in the online paper for George Washington University http://www.dailycolonial.com/go.dc?p=3&s=3240
Anyone have an idea of what the SNR or THD will be? Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places. This is one major thing that kept me from getting an iPod. Hope this will better. I hate apple anyway.

The cool Zune Converter software Site.

What are the best ways/places to download music videos? Check out the iPod touch ad featuring the CSS song (those traitors!) "Music is My Hot Hot Sex", and other videos, below......

I could use CD+G to iPod Karaoke Converter for my need to show the +G info on my Zune? Have tried some software, but when I rip the graphics portion will not open. In our performances, we engage the audience to come forward to sing, so need to transfer the +G data to a monitor from the Zune device. Does anyone out there have a solution?

Apple's iPod Touch and Microsoft's Zune have in common the fact that

they both use the Cansei De Ser Sexy band to promote their devices. Zune

ships with a CSS song. A CSS song serves as the soundtrack for the iPod

Touch commercial.
