You can Personalize Your Zune

Bungie.net last week posted a Zune image that seems to have a few folks talking.

A few things about that. It's a real Zune; not photoshopped or anything. No, it doesn't mean there will be a Zune/Halo 3 tie-in. With Zune, you can personalize your background. So this anonymous contributor took an image from Halo 3, and added it to his Zune. Ok, hope everybody had a great weekend.

So what size image would an ideal Zune background image be? are there any plans to have free downloadable background images for the Zune? Also I am officially in the market for a new mp3 player. My Creative Zen Xtra's screen no longer displays text. Just a lit up screen. Thinking water got into it. ( had some litle portable speakers hooked up to it in the bathroom while I was taking a shower ). =*( Music still plays fine, but since I have no way to see it, it has basically become an overly-complicated shuffle. ( at least I have my favorite playlist already cued up on shuffle repeat ). Guess I will be getting a Zune for my B-day afterall. =)

Hey Cesar, couldn't find out who the culprit was? Anyways...I saw a pic of the first Zune advertisments... http://zunelicious.blogspot.com/2006/10/daily-zune-buzz.html And I have to say that I'm a little disapointed. I hope you guys have some cooler stuff in the works because frankly, I just don't think that will cut it against Apple's insane marketing guys (have you seen the new Nano commercial?!?!?!!!). -Charlie

I love the idea of having a background pic on my zune. Just like having a diffrent wallpaper on a cell phone.

Hey Cesar, quick question for you...What is the little circular indent on the back of the Zune? Does it serve an purpose? Take a look at the second pic if you don't know what I'm talking about. http://zunelicious.blogspot.com/2006/10/image-overload.html -Charlie

I think it looks really cool, and I really like the fact that you can at least customize the Zune with a custom background, as with the ipod, customization is extremely limited.

Hey Ceasar, Is there anyone on the team that is specifically working on the Zune Marketplace with a Blog out there somewhere? I'm interested in the Hardware forsure but I'd like the read about the Serive too!

Ryan

I know exactly what background I'm going to use for my Zune ;) I just preordered it on Amazon, rock on.

Hey Cesar/everyone...I think I've stumbled upon the best Zune video yet! http://zunelicious.blogspot.com/2006/10/sweet-video-of-chris-stephenson-from.html -Charlie

Definately a nice touch different than "the competition". Also, where can we ask questions... like does ZUNE play nice with URGE?

Graham Gosling

Is it just me, but the image isn't displaying in the blog. Nice idea though!

I already considered putting game picture packs on my Zune. I'll probably hook mine up with some mass effect screens or some bioshock stuff. I'm really looking forward to hooking it up. I wonder if they'll have official themes that you can download off the marketplace too. That'd be sweet.
