Some of My Favorite Zune Jokes on the Web

There's a certain amount of thick skin/roll with the punches a person needs to work at Microsoft. Especially working on something like Zune (Hi, iFanboys! I love you guys!).

So I thought I'd put together my favorite Zune jokes I've been sent since starting in this job. Ready, heeere we go:

Zune Prototype Exposed!

Had me in stitches. Moving on. . .

The New ZUNE Player Spy Photo
Zunebox
Light enough to be carried without Back Support!
Fits in some Backpacks!

Oh that was a good one. . . on and here's one that pokes fun at the me and the rest of the marketing team:

Hilarious.

And although it's not specifically about Zune, lots of folks reference this video when talking about what the Zune box is going to look like. BTW, I've seen the box, and it's not like this but. . .

And our friends at Zunescene put this together:

Cesar: "Lend Zune Your Ears"

Microsoft employee and author of zuneinsider.com proclaimed: "All Roads lead to Zune, the empire will expand and cover the face of the earth" during a recent toga party for Zune Bloggers. The Scene was not invited but one of our guys snuck in as a caterer.

Trust me, The Scene. I'll make sure you get invited to the Zune toga launch party. More later!

Those weren't very funny. I thought the mac types were supposed to be creative.

I had seen a cleverly done mod of ipod nano bearing Windows icons on it - I almost bought it; it was done very well. S

How about my invite? :P

Cesar, I can't find any contact info for you. I run a Zune blog myself. Is there anyway I could get a link from your site? Let me know, thanks!

Joe

Hi Cesar, I tried looking around to contact you, but there is no where to to get the contact info, so here I'm trying to get our site http://clubzune.net in to your kids list... Can you? Thanks Joe

msfts worst nightmare

zooney said: "Those weren't very funny. I thought the mac types were supposed to be creative." What makes you think those were written by Mac types, then? Perhaps it's MSFTs own viral marketing team at work!!!

msofts worst nightmare (oh ya, I'm totally shakin ;) - Nope. I'm on the marketing team and can tell you that we're not behind these sites. Have a good one!

Some of the best ones aren't jokes. Like the Zune-Hebrew thing. You should do a post about how Microsoft plans to market Zune in Israel.
